Hyatt Centric Delfina Santa Monica

Great location, short walk to Santa Monica pier. Room was spacious, well furnished and clean. Pool area is very relaxing. Only disappointments were parking fee at $62 per night because only valet parking was available and bar closed at 10 PM

Everything good but expensive

I had a $170 resort fee added on to my bill that was not clearly communicated. Other than that, the hotel was in a great location and an easy walk to Venice Beach or the pier.

Loved this hotel. Balcony with ocean view, clean room and comfy beds. Staff was SO friendly and accommodating. My ONLY complaint (and this may be a CA Thing) was the bar/restaurant prices. $44 for 2 drinks with an additional 20% tax added to price and regular tax. Also you do have to pay for valet service to even use the EV charger, can’t use it with paid self parking- even though chargers were not being used and it’s only $5 difference. - Sorry no one is driving and parking our Cybertruck thank you very much. That was a bummer. Overall hotel itself, access to the free bikes, distance to beach, cleanliness and service are 5 stars!

The room was ok. But what made me lower stars is the fact that the EV chargers are only for valet parked vehicles. They never explained that anywhere while making the reservation. That was a big reason to pick that specific hotel. The self parking alone was already expensive, but gatekeeping the chargers with valet was not a great move. To top it off it's probably 3 chargers, so if you are planning to use the hotel as a destination to charge, don't even bother.

The restaurant offerings were meh and really expensive. The room amenities could use some modernization and the rugs a very deep clean. It felt more like an upscale motel than a 4 star hotel. Proximity to the beach was nice (20 min walk) but please don’t advertise ocean view room when the hotel is located so far away and you can barely see it.

You will be hit with many additional fees NOT disclosed including a daily resort fee and very expensive daily parking fee. Would not recommend.

Room had a stuffy smell and just a little dusty

Loved access to bikes - quick ride down to the boardwalk. Helpful staff genuinely willing to make sure my experience was positive.

We never had such bad experinece in any hotel. We checked the hotel after booking one month prior to our arrival when we were in santa Monica. They showed us the right room and I called again but when I arrived booking lady talked to manager and I think they gave me lower price room Nalini Motwani

Staff is excellent. 2 year in a row staying here. Tracy was very helpful both trips.
