Ocean Park Hotel

Room was ok ish for a hostel ( not a hotel ) Very basic. No AC, just a fan on the ceiling. Mosquito nets on windows hanging off, curtains didn't close. Never used the shared bathroom, looked too unhygienic. Parking was ok. IMO I wouldn't recommend for a hotel stay.

Great hotel

For a value hotel, it was perfect! It felt safe. And it had all the bare essentials. Thank you Ocean Park Hotel for allowing me to stay in the location I wanted at an affordable price! Nothing!

Superb

Cleanliness was of good standard, comfortable bed Had to be moved from downstairs as it resembled more of a basic prison cell then moved upstairs where the rooms appeared more like what's on the website but unfortunately low score for missing glass window as it had been ripped off the mechanism and the fly screen was hanging off so security was a concern. Also although no pets are allowed however room 40 had a yapping dog on our 2nd night .

The staff were so amazingly helpful- was so grateful for the advice and information they gave me. Great to have a fridge in room, but there was no air con.... that is my only complaint.

We had a very upsetting experience during our stay. I was physically assaulted and subjected to racist verbal abuse by another hotel guest. We immediately reported the incident to the staff, but the property showed little interest in properly investigating or resolving the situation. We no longer felt safe and had to leave one day early. The lack of communication and willingness to address such a serious safety issue was extremely disappointing.

This is not a hotel. A nice hostel maybe but it is misrepresented. No restaurant, no a/c, shabby broken furniture, and a shared bathroom. Booked for 4 nights and stayed only 2. Not what was advertised.

Good

The room is clean and location was good for my purposes. I felt safe walking in this area as a solo traveler, although there is not much to walk to. This is a common hallway bathroom situation, there are sinks in the room but no shower or toilet. There is no A/C. The only thing that made me a little uncomfortable is keeping the window open (it was very hot while I was there) in a ground floor room. There are also no amenities, not even a cup of coffee. There is plenty of free parking. It's basic barebones with a good price for the area.
