Set in a historic building in Santo Domingo's Colonial Zone, once home to a former president, the adult-only Casa Sanchez is within 1 minute's walk of Conde street. This boutique hotel has an outdoor pool and a separate jacuzzi in a pretty roof garden. There's free WiFi in all areas and 24-hour front-desk. Each air-conditioned room comes with internet TV, a safety-deposit box and a luxurious bathroom. The 16 bedrooms are all different. Standard rooms are poolside and perfect for a short-stay, while the Superior rooms are much larger and have an array of original features including beautiful Colonial tiling and high ceilings. There's a choice of four breakfast menus, served in a Colonial patio-garden. Suites have their own kitchens for guests who want to cook at home, with the supermarket just 4 blocks away. The hotel is located in the center of the Colonial Zone, within a few steps of the main Conde street. Boca Chica beach and Las Americas International Airport are both within a 45-minute drive. Free public parking is available on the street outside the hotel. The adult-only property offers airport and local transportation for an extra fee.

Location, atmosphere, pool, staff. The shower did not have great pressure and the handheld nozzle did not work. Breakfast was underwhelming, but it was free so ?♂️.

Breakfast portions could have been a bit more generous. Not everyone in the staff speaks English but it is like this all around the Dominican Republic so a few words of Spanish will get you a long way

There was no property found. So I’m asking for my refund. The area was unsafe, construction everywhere, no one answered the phone. This was full of crapshoot. No freaking property was found.

It was in a great location and the Decor Vibe was amazing Just 1 front desk Not Rachel and Jose were super amazing too me they were so delightful even helped get me a new tv since mines wasn’t working , but they went the extra mile beside the one front desk girl who got beside herself and showed me a video of my Comforter which was a violation of my privacy I’m going to keep it right there , Unacceptable oh and another thing how you serving Dominican 3 golpes without the cheese. Like that’s the best part

Very vintage, from furniture throughout to bedroom furniture , breakfast was very enjoyable. Roof top sitting area allowed you to sit in sun and also had plenty of shade No ketchup at breakfast ?

Excellent location near the pedestrian only street (El Conde) in the Colonial Zone, all the tourist things were walkable, very nice staff, spacious room with great AC, nice little pool, 24 hr front desk for arrivals and safety, free breakfast. Very cool little historic hotel. The bed was very firm. There were things that could use some repair in the room and hotel. If you are picky or demanding, this probably is not the place for you.

I also liked that the entry door had a keypad, so I didn't have to carry the key around. There's both AC and a fan in the room. Occasionally I prefer using a fan, but here I couldn't turn it on without turning on the light as well.

The location was fantastic and well suited for travelers. Everything within waking distances. Great restaurants, great food and I felt safe at all times. Perfect for in transit Guest. I didn't appreciate my +1 being kept asked for an ID. I explained its a couple thats staying but it didn't seem to matter. The room lacked in best guess years of maintenance. It was not equipped with all towel types and or toiletries. I didn't however, never brought the attention to the team as I guess it is what it is.

It’s a charming boutique hotel in the heart of the Colonia Zone. Parking! It was difficult to find street parking close to the hotel.

Electricity failed in room. Deferred maintenance. Had to be moved to another hotel

Electricity went out in my room and gad to spend one night in a different hotel. Some deferred naintenace issues.
