Maison Aurelia Sanur, Bali - by Préférence

I always love staying at Maison Aurelia in Sanur. It is such a beautiful boutique environment. The staff are so friendly, professional & helpful. I'll be back for sure! Everything is great. I have no complaints or improvement suggestions about anything.

We very much enjoyed our 7-night stay at the Maison Aurelia Sanur, Bali! The location is in the perfect location of Sanur, on the main street close to the beach and promenade in a very quiet area of Sanur. The location is also a very short walk to lots of Balinese and international restaurants and the new mall and movie theatre. Our room was very spacious with a separate sitting area which made the room perfect for lounging. The room is serviced twice; once in the morning and at night for a "turndown" service. The housekeeping team always did a great job in taking care of our room. Also, the front desk staff was so friendly and helpful. EVERYONE at the front desk we met and chatted with spoke excellent English, were friendly, helpful and truly tried their best to ensure we had a good visit to their property and also to Sanur. I would like to give a special mention to two front desk employees who went "above and beyond" many times during our stay: Ari and Tio. Both gentlemen were over-the-top professional, helpful, had great senses of humor, and we very much enjoyed interacting with them. Ari and Tio were excellent "ambassadors" for the Maison Aurelia Sanur as well as for Bali!

Lovely place, central location, sparkling clean, kind staff

The room was spacious and clean, the location was perfect for us, close to the beach, the markets, and surrounded by plenty of restaurants close by. We did eat at the Cork restaurant within the hotel and the food was really good. staff were amazing, polite and helpful. Nothing

Beach and beach path was about a 300-400m walk. We had a lot of rain and the main road flooded right at the hotel (had to wade through ankle deep water). Gym was very small with a treadmill, stationary bike and a complete set of dumbbells.

Very nice and clean boutique hotel loved the aesthetics of the entire hotels. Great staff who would go an extra mile to ensure guests' needs are served. We stayed in magnolia suite (interconnected rooms) which was quite nice and comfy for a family. The little but comfy living room just made a huge difference. Hotel is close to the beach (Less than 10 mins walk) and near so many good eateries. Nice pool and a good bar. We would definitely stay here again in future. Breakfast was a hit and miss, in the sense that you had to choose between continental and buffet breakfast. Buffet breakfast did not have many options and topping up on continental one was becoming expensive. We loved it though.

Beautiful clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Excellent room layout in the Magnolia Suite was perfect for families. The hotel was a relaxing and peaceful place for us all to enjoy - we made good use of the pool area. Location was good with easy access to the beach via a nearby lane, and a good variety of shops, cafes and restaurants nearby. The adjoining restaurant was quite expensive and had a limited menu suitable for casual dining. Otherwise a lovely boutique hotel.

Absolutely beautiful boutique hotel, every detail, from the art, wine, furniture, pool, breakfast, amazing comfy king size bed, and pillows to die for, crisp soft linen and quilt. Staff attended to every need, warm, courteous and happy. Must mention there are always quite a few staff to assist, which lack in some other establishments. Location great. If youre looking for a hotel with many restaurants inhouse and room service this is not the one, however location brilliant next door, across the road many many brilliant cafes and restaurants.

Everything was absolutely perfect

My family and I absolutely loved our stay at Maison Aurelia. In fact, we enjoyed it so much that we changed our travel plans at the last minute just so we could come back and spend the second week of our holiday here! We stayed in both the Camellia Suite (317 & 319) and the Magnolia Suite (316 & 318). Both were spacious, beautifully designed, and offered excellent value for money. The Magnolia Suite, in particular, is ideal for families or two couples traveling together — each bedroom has its own privacy while sharing a comfortable living area in between. The staff and service were exceptional. It’s the thoughtful details that made our stay so memorable — a personal note from the General Manager welcoming us back, a refreshing welcome drink, fruit and sweet treats after check-in, and the ever-friendly smiles and greetings from every staff member we met. The location is fantastic — surrounded by lovely cafés and restaurants, right next to a supermarket, only a 7-minute walk to the beach, and about 10–15 minutes to the new Icon Bali Mall. We also enjoyed a couple of relaxing massages at the hotel spa, which we highly recommend. A tip for future guests: sign up for the free Ascott Rewards membership before your stay. Members enjoy great benefits like discounts on dining, spa treatments, and even room rates. We truly can’t wait to return to Maison Aurelia — it feels like our home away from home in Bali. You can hear some live music from nearby restaurants in the evening, but it stops around 10 p.m., so it didn’t affect our sleep. Our only negative experience was with the airport transfer on our last day — the driver drove quite aggressively, which made our daughter unwell. While we arrived on time despite heavy traffic, this was not reflective of the excellent driving standards we experienced elsewhere during our stay.

Excellent / comfortable room that was good size. Front desk was very welcoming and available for minor requests. Very good value. Enjoyed a light lunch of Nasi Goreng at the adjacent CORK Bistro & Wine Bar where they had a lady / piano player providing some nice background music. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach, but not too far. Take the time to walk over and enjoy the beach front walking path separating the beach from the cafes and shops.

Exactly as advertised. Convenient location, kind and helpful staff, great pool, generous and comfortable rooms.

Really great location. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. The beds and pillows were heaven!!!

Everything was perfect. We stayed in the Magnolia Suite and it was comfortable for 3 of us. All amenities are provided and I appreciate that they did glass bottles for water. It’s so close to all the shops that you can walk out to eat, shop and go to the spas… the breakfast was good and they brew fresh coffee each morning. The air con was perfect, cooling and nice. Maison Aurelia is a lovely hotel property on the main street in Sanur, about a block from the beach. The rooms are large and soundproofed with balconies overlooking the town. The hotel provides glass bottles and there is a filtered water dispenser on every floor to reduce plastic waste. There is an attached restaurant and spa. The masseuses were very experienced, unlike in some spas in town. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of choices and good coffee. The salads served at other meals were superb although we mostly ate out at the excellent Three Monkeys down the road. There is a workout room with yoga mats, always appreciated. Finally, Sanur is a charming small town on the sea with a nice beach boardwalk, a destination in itself, about 1 hour from Ubud but much calmer with less traffic. Top marks!

Everything about the hotel was perfect. Staff were very helpful. I liked everything in the hotel including the location, the staff, the room, etc. Food had very limited options and I didn’t like it.

The location is perfect. Also they have a car park area. Easy to park just next to the building. Right on the shopping and eat street! Not allow to smoke at the balcony.
