Taman Agung was a wonderful base to experience Sanur. It is set off the main road a little bit so you feel the peace and tranquility of surrounding gardens and pool. It is close to beach and shops, and just far enough away to escape the busyness. The buffet breakfast was wonderful and the staff very helpful and friendly.

There were several maintenance issues for the room that we needed to deal with, including no hot water, PowerPoints not working, light bulbs dead, key card not working. Also, we requested express laundry and more than 24 hours later, our laundry hasn't even been sent, without any communication with us.

The garden around the swimming pool area is great, The swimming pool is nice. The wifi is fast (if you have a room that is close enough to the access point) - BEWARE! This hotel advertises falsely on online sites. I booked 2 rooms through booking.com and the pictures of the bathroom were very different from the room that I got. I complained and they told me the rooms with that newer bathroom were already occupied. So I asked why could I even book that room if it's are already occupied? They couldn't give me a straight answer and kept telling me they haven't updated the pictures on booking. So you have uploaded photos from the rooms with a newer bathroom but not from the rooms with the older bathroom. I hated it when they kept searching for excuses and talked to me like I was an idiot. I saw right through their false advertising nonsense. They put the photos of the best/newest bathroom online (even though only a few rooms have that specific bathroom) and they try to get customers to book and then they give them the rooms with the old bathroom. For the same price! They didn't want to give me a discount either. They did offer me other rooms but they were not suitable for my family composition. My advice: if you want the exact room like the one you book, stay away from this place because eventually you don't know what kind of room you will get. - The breakfast is really simple and not enough . The fruit portion was nice though! - The toilet didn't flush well because it was probably 20 years old. Got kind of smelly - if you are a young traveler who's want to meet people or go out avoid this place. It's more for old people who avoid the winter and stay there long term. Made me feel like I was in Benidorm.

Our bedroom window faced east. The bedroom curtain was pretty sheer. It did not block any sunlight from entering the room from 5.30am onwards. I overcame the problem by standing on the bed and pegging 2 pool towels to the top of the curtain.

A bit old and low quality room facilities, half of the things not working properly. Balcony is dangerous for the kids, as some parts have no barriers.

The room wasn’t as clean as other reviews made expectations out to be and it felt a bit uncomfortable. Also advertised as having a restaurant and room service options which ended up not being the case, I guess since covid but it would’ve been helpful if that had been mentioned beforehand.
