Besakih Beach Hotel

This is in an excellent location on the beach promenade in Sanur and in walking distance to the ICON mall with lots of restaurant options close to the resort. The resort is right on the beach, however the room needs upgrading especially the bathroom. There is no elevator and unfortunately I had a fall down the stairs and had an injury. The reception staff was also not the best with the checking in and out. The place was cheap considering how great the location was. The bathroom curtains and tub were not clean.-it was stained and definitely needs an upgrade. There was no elevator in the building. The room needs an upgrade.

I love the position of the property right on the water and the friendliness of the staff, especially Sue and Coto in the restaurant It feels a little tired

I've stayed here before. Old style Bali hotel, right on the Sanur beachfront, so easy access to the boardwalk, pool overlooks the boardwalk, so good for people watching. Plenty of sunlounges on the beach to watch the ocean, have a drink or a meal. Easy walk to lots of other restaurants etc. Good aircon, enjoyed my stay. Helpful staff. This hotel is older, and a little tired, but clean enough & I like it.

Great Value for money. On the beach and between more expensive hotels and shops, restaurants. Great location, enjoyed a long walk on the Sanur beach or beach path, every day. Good A/C and TV. Staff very friendly. Will stay here again!

If you looking for quite place to stay this is the perfect one.. the location is perfect many conviniance store, go to icon mall in walking distance. In weekend easy to find sate babi and gorengan sanur, for me this hotel is perfect for introvert family that dont like noises and crowd. Absollutly perfect. The staff also verry helpfull, they are nice and always try to fullfil your request. Verry good guys. Not something that i dont like, i have zero complain about this place. Maybe just litlle downside about this hotel is a bit old fashion hotel, not complain eventhou is olf fashion this hotel absolutly clean.

We have stayed at this property on and off for 30 years. There are lots of wonderful things about the property, including the staff that have been around for a long time, but it does need a bit of an update. Feels a bit tired

Nothing

The location was perfect and the staff was so considerate. There were lots of restaurants within walking distance, convenient stores, and places to do laundry. I was in a bungalow, which was really nice. The bathroom was a bit outdated, and the shower could use a redo. All inclusive breakfast ‘buffet’ left a lot to be desired. They would make eggs for you, which usually turned out pretty good. Other than that, there was rice, noodles, fruit, cucumber and tomato, toast, juice, and cold pancakes.

We arrived at the hotel and left our bags in the room. The room was in need of an upgrade. The sheets were grey and old which made the bed uninviting. The room was full of mosquitos too. We went out to get something to eat. When we came back we took our bags and left the hotel. I can't comment on the pool or facilities, but the room alone was enough to put you off.

Great location, beach was great the path along the beach is the best can walk along for an hour and have amazing beach from restaurants and cafes definitely stay in the area again. Pool was always clean and accessible. Liked everything as expected for an older style traditional hotel. Possibly could do with a little refurbishment.

Fantastic beachfront location, and so close to heaps of great restaurants, shops and Icon. Beautiful gardens and lovely pool by the beach. It’s got the traditional Balinese style design that I love. Buffet breakfast is fairly basic, but they cook eggs and bacon etc to order, and serve proper Bali Kopi. Staff are so friendly and helpful, and will go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. I found the mattress too hard (common for SE Asia) and they immediately put a topper pad on for me, which made all the difference. I upgraded to a bungalow, and it was exactly what I was looking for - a quiet, self contained room with everything I needed. It’s excellent value for the location. This is my new favourite place to stay! It’s “a bit old and tired”, and some things need fixing/renovating, like broken tiles, cracks in windows etc. Worth overlooking for the location, value for money, and great staff.

Location is great on the beach

Perfect location in Sanur, everything was within easy reach. The staff was very kind and welcoming, and we truly enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended! The only small downside was that the bed sheets were a bit worn and could be improved

Mosquitos

Location amazing, right on the beach with dedicated beach chairs. This is a shabby property with run down fittings. The bath areas are stained and the bathrooms could smell better. They don't provide bath gels or lotions.It needs a serious upgrade of furnishings.
