Gazebo Beach Hotel

The location of the hotel was excellent. The whole property is very green with has lots of plants. The rooms were very old. The hot water in the bathroom was just a trickle. No room service and the restaurant food is not the best

Location was excellent, couldn't be better, The gardens very well maintained and delightful Breakfast was very limited, mainly eggs anyway American style was just tomato, ham and lettuce. No variety. No Indonesian food. Staff were not very welcoming!

Location was great. Close to food outlets Breakfast choices were very limited . Restaurant staff were mostly surly and one charged us for a Pina colada with no alcohol in it and lied when asked if she put any in. Found out later they don't serve cocktails and don't have spirits. Not happy. Facilities were also limited and we had to ask for a kettle. No coffee or tea provided. Our aircon was stuck on freeze. Wi-Fi was sporadic.

Great Location, value for money

Staff are lovely here. It is beachfront, right on the beach path. It has a warung at the front with inexpensive food. The hotel is old, and run down, but the staff are helpful and friendly. The pool is clean but the day beds are old. The room is big and the bed is not plush but it's comfortable. it had a good sized fridge with a freezer that kept icecream hard, There were new thick pool towels. I was aware when I booked that this is a very old original resort that is run down, and I still feel it is a good budget alternative to be on the beach front. Mobility note: I used a walking stick the entire time and found getting around this hotel very good, there are ramps where needed. The room I had 226, does not have any grab bar in the shower or toilet and there is a step down into the shower, but i did not feel unsafe. There are 2 pools, I used the top pool because it has steps, but I gave the front pool a try as the ladder steps are in the water, wide and not set into the side of the pool, and I had no problem getting in or out. I saw several people with willy walkers, sticks and wheelchairs at this hotel. It is handy to the walking path and Icon mall. I did not have a decent shower in the 10 days I was there. Either no hot water or I got a dribble of water. Some days it was both. They did come when I asked them, but even when they replaced the decrepit shower head, it didn't make much difference. The cleaning was also not very thorough, and the towels are thin, grey and old. Next time I will ask to change rooms.

Water pressure

Cleanliness was not very good. Wifi was bad unless you were in the lobby Wifi Cleaner rooms and bath mats. Water pressure was no good. No hot water was connected to the hand basin

Gazebo needs refurbishment . Particulary the plumbing.

Gardens and the gardener were excellent, WiFi problems, animals in roof, housekeeping came early each morning

Beach was nice, location is excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful Mediocre wi-fi, dated rooms.

The plants around the garden I got sick from the mildew in the aircon ended up in the BIMC hospital in kuta the doctor said you can’t stay there, you could get worse . room was dirty & disgusting, mildew in bathroom , dirty blankets , pillows had mildew on both, even both pools on the property had heaps of black mildew.

Location fantastic Got bed bugs badly. Told reception, but they didnt seem concerned. Cost a small fortune trying to remedy. Room 224

The rooms are very tired and dated, not very clean. Dont book the saver rooms!

The location was great, right on the beach. Bed was comfortable. The gardens are really tropical and well tended The room was tired and in need of renovation (suite room) Water pressure was poor and it was hard to get the temperature right

The hotel is located by the beach and convenient to the Icon shopping center. There are plenty of shops and resturants on the road and beach side of the property. We stayed in a Joglo room which I think was a bit bigger than some rooms. There are 2 pools. Rooms are cleaned daily and water jugs are refilled each day, if you need extra just ask. We stayed in a Joglo room which was quite nice. The kitchen only had a sink, fridge and kettle. There was no table and chair as per the photos and no microwave. We asked for a chair and table and recieved a chair and small table. Breakfast is very basic there is no buffet, but you can get toast, eggs anyway you want them cooked, pancakes and Nasi goreng. There is also tea and coffee. Orange juice is bottled, but not very nice. However the staff are very friendly. They also have a basic menu for lunch and dinner. What we tried was very nice. The hotel needs a bit of a face lift, as alot of things are getting tired. But the prices are quite low for a beach front property in this area. If you need every thing to be shiny and new this is not the hotel for you.

Location is the key, rooms are large but tired but we already knew that. This hotel is huge grounds with rooms scattered over an enormous area. Beachfront and critical. street frontage, it's the best spot. low water pressure and wifi slow

location in Sanur and beach front location. the hotel is very old and needing a lot of maintenance the pool having black mould on the walls. the water in the villa would stop and start and the breakfast was very poor .

Fantastic stay, great location. Staff were excellent. Highly recommend the Gazebo Hotel.

Location is perfect, right on the beach front and main road. Lovely gardens and Balinese feel Staff lovely and very helpful. Main pool was very refreshing and clean, didn't use other pool but the surrounds ( chairs etc) need a revamp. Large room and large bathroom. I had a kitchen but needed to ask for a kettle, no dramas.. No microwave as advertised but didn't need it. Good sized fridge. Air-conditioning worked well. Room needs a good clean and revamp. Outdoor settings nearly unuseable. Bed hard but sleep able, and pillows smelt mouldy. Pool chairs broken and mouldy Towels and linen need replacing, very grey and threadbare. Room very dark though curtains pretty thin and also need a good wash or replacing

location and lovely garden bathrooms were in need of repair and a good scrub(clean) towels where very old and thin, restaurant had a smell when you walked through
