Stana Puri Gopa Hotel

The Bali style architecture and gardens were beautiful. We were less than 10 minutes from the beach and even closer to shops and restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly.

Location and close to beach. Great pool!

The hotel itself is a lovely, old style Bali property. The room was not fit for habitation. It was on the main corridor to reception, so everyone could see into the room if the curtains were open, There was no sunlight into the room, and it was so dark you either had to close the curtains and have all the lights on, or stumble around in the gloom. If you opened the door to let light in everyone going to reception peered into the room. One man even came into the room and started taking photos as he thought the room was unoccupied as there were no lights on. As a solo female traveller I did not feel safe so I left after one night, and have been trying to get a refund on the remaining nights ever since. All the hotel have offered is a discount on a further stay!

The accommodation and great kind people

The grounds were beautiful. Very well maintained. My room was near the pool and it was loud with the kids playing. But that was the only room left. If you are a single traveler, best not be by the pool.

Traditional and lovely gardens. Great location. But rundown. Bathroom wasn’t clean. Room could have been cleaner. Bed awful, broke out backs. Terrible nights sleep.

Good location

The room needs a little refresher, mostly in the bathroom area which is a wet bathroom. I arrived late, at midnight and the usual staff wasn't there so I was greeted by the night guard who showed me to my room. He hugged me when he said goodbye and it made me feel very uncomfortable. The rest of the staff was very professional and helpful.

Pool was very nice but some pool noodles would have been good. Particularly asked for room with walk in shower but didn't get it, shower was over the bath.

Everything Nothing

The staff were very friendly and also helpful when I needed a doctor. Needs updating.

We loved our stay but unfortunately we we put on the 3rd floor away from the pool and others. Some people might like that but I prefer to be around others and dip in the pool whenever I like. If your like me ask for a ground floor room. Other than that lovely place to stay. Just being up 3 flights of stairs

The location is excellent. We stayed in a studio apartment, it was very spacious and my kids loved it. The staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was yummy and had an incredible selection of foods. We have no complaints

Kind people and very traditional style

The location is fantastic. 4 minutes walk to the beach where there are lots of great restaurants. Also great access to the main high street a supermarket just around the corner and again lots of restaurants, pharmacy, bars etc. The staff are super friendly and accommodating. I am very sensitive to noise and my room was on the road side so I could hear lots of motorbikes and general road noise which is to be expected for a hotel located on a busy road. It is also a more basic , Balinese style hotel and could use a little updating but it was spotlessly clean and the bed was comfy albeit the bedding had a funny smell.

Good location, short walk to beach. Friendly staff. Nice ambience. Very good breakfast

Normal twin room was meh. Cleanliness was mid, nothing really bad though.

Didn't like the fact that the room we ere assigned didn't have a walk in shower even though I had expressed our preference for this as I have knee problems and climbinb into a bath for a shower is difficult. Also didn't like the fact that we had to step over a narrow entranceway to get into our room.

Perfect location in Sanur, pool was lovely and the best Chinese restaurant next door…and I enjoy being in walking distance to activities and bars… Nothing
