Abian Harmony Hotel & Spa

The room and hallway were not clean. At night the water was not hot, merely lukewarm for five minutes after which it was cold. In the morning there was no water at all. I had to wait taking a shower until the water came back on.

The location is great with just a short walk to the beach, nearly all the staff are polite and helpful, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast options are excellent. As I've had many happy stays at The Abian Harmony Hotel over the years, it saddens me to have to write a negative review, but I feel a responsibility to warn others of what may occur. During my recent stay my privacy was invaded while the 'Do Not Disturb' sign was on my door, I was stolen from, and my health was compromised. I reached out to management through various channels, explaining in detail what had happened, and hoping that they could quietly fix the problem by removing the untrustworthy individual from staff. I got no response. Unfortunately, I would no longer feel safe and comfortable staying there in future, and neither would my family.

Affordable & comfortable facilities with helpful staff- Large pool /great breakfast choices & walking distance to yoga studios /beach & cafes. Needs more pool side lounges

The location is great as it is near to restaurants, store, beach, and pier. The room we had was spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness of the bathroom needs improvement. The foul smell coming from the bathroom is disappointing. The toilet bowl was wiggly. Wifi connection was weak.

The pool is not the greatest, but the beach is close so this makes up for it.

Location and staff were great ! The building itself is a bit outdated

Great pool. Breakfast has many choices between Indonesian and western food. Comfortable beds. We booked the family room #205. It was huge with a queen bed and two twins. Spacious bathroom with a big shower that has a main rain shower head, a handheld sprayer, and spout that is great for washing feet. The staff are excellent and take care of every need. Floor drain in the bathroom would vent gases when flushing the toilet. AC was a little weak for the size of room.

The cleanliness of the wet areas was not the best. There was noticeable deterioration due to age, but this could be remedied with thorough maintenance. The bathroom area was poorly lit. The towels showed clear signs of wear.

My 80-year-old father has broken a teacup, and they asked for money. So filthy pool and bathrooms. The mold smell in the room was burning the lungs. So dirty

The bed was comfy, but full of stains, and the bed sheets were never changed (5 days staying), and smelled mould Pool filth (snot or splits were in the pool),very dirty bathrooms, toilet seat was leaking when using(!) related urine and ... smell. Everything was dirty

The staff was amazing! Wonderful welcoming with our kids, very attentive and nice. The pool was great, had also more shade in the afternoon and the breakfast was good too (you can choose to get a basic buffet or order something and have the buffet then included). When there is a festival (like it was now) there are practices across on the parking lot there and it is really loud when you face the street. Otherwise it is a nice location, not too crowded and not too lonely.

I appreciated having a temporary room right away while another room was under repair. After a long travel day, it helped to have somewhere to decompress. My second room felt drier than the first, even though other issues remained. • Persistent mold/moisture issues. I saw visible mold/water staining in my room(s) and in common areas, and some areas appeared to be patched/painted over rather than properly remediated. • A musty smell throughout the property, plus a sewage-like odor from the bathroom at times. • Sleep disruption. In my second room I could hear and feel repeated knocking/vibration consistent with elevator use, and I was also woken by loud rattling/knocking from the ceiling/roof area. • Overall, this felt like a building with ongoing water intrusion being managed cosmetically rather than fixed. • When I checked out early because of these issues, the property refused any refund for the unused nights. • If you’re sensitive to damp/mold or you value quiet sleep, I’d avoid.

The room was spacious and clean. breakfast had a limited menu however it was good. A little more variety in the breakfast.
