The hotel was nice. Check-in is easy and facilitated by machines that have various language options. The room was fairly spacious by Japanese hotel standards. Very clean and simple. Bathroom is very clean, there is no mold in the caulking, which is impressive (I've been in many hotels in Japan that had mold in the caulking). The shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are also in locked containers, which i prefer as it makes it harder to tamper with. The street leading to the entrance was completely icy, very hard to walk down, but that's not the fault of the hotel.

Location was good, very near to Sapporo main station, walking distance. Rooms are of a decent size for 2 people and cleanliness is top notch. Breakfast is simple Japanese fare with some western dishes, e.g. sausages, salads. Rooms are not automatically cleaned daily. Guests would need to specify when they want it made up. Staff is pleasant but not necessarily helpful. Partly due to communication issues. They speak very little English.
