Included breakfast was very nice. You can't beat the location to downtown.

Batcheller Mansion is amazing. The woodwork and furniture are great. Breakfast was very nice. There were a couple of issues that would have made our stay a little more enjoyable. in the Amelia room, where we stayed, there was no closable curtain, blinds or shear curtain in the window with the air conditioner. It would have been nice for privacy. They did mention the shutters, but they were not operable. Another privacy issue was that the pocket door for the bathroom could not be closed even with considerable effort.

We enjoyed the historical aspect of this property. There was amazing crown molding, art work, windows, and it made us feel like we were in a palace. The dining room had a beautiful crystal chandelier, cozy round tables for two, antique furniture, and fine china. We met the other guests on the porch and we really enjoyed our conversation. Highly recommended!!
