Property area is great Couldn’t figure out how to get the TV and room fan on Should’ve asked Steve to help me when he showed me to my room

It was close to DMB concert Ridiculously over priced. States pool and free parking. No pool and I was charged daily for parking. The place was filthy and I was charged extra for maid service. Also rooms were condemned but the city. I do have pictures. Left 1 day early claimed family emergency. Office was always locked with a number to call that was never answered. This was in July. Now in September I am fighting for a $263 charge that was just put on my card from this place.

Location

The location of this small motel/hotel in Saratoga Springs was good. Free parking at the site. Enjoyed walking to many restaurants and stores on Broadway and other streets in downtown. Walking distance to the 4th of July festivities and the fireworks. The kitchen was not functional for cooking, the cooktop was 2 hotplates- no real cooktop. The cabinets didn't have much in the way of dishes, it lacked cups for coffee, no glasses for drinking beverages and the 2 plates in the cabinet were dirty. The closet had a terrible odor so was basically unusable. Lived out of our luggage. Stayed for 3 nights and were only given 2 bath towels, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel. Charges were added to the bill that were inappropriate. Pet fees when we didn't have any pets, charges for credit card surcharge, charge for housekeeping gratuity daily even though there weren't any housekeeping services. Dead bolt nonfunctioning and had we turned it we would have been locked in unable to get out of the room. The entire door was loose that it didn't provide security. The bathroom was missing grout between the tiles. No doorknobs on the bathroom doors. Missing lightbulbs in the lights. The owner Steven came into our room while we were gone without any notification either before or after he went into our room. The room was located on the second story with only one set of stairs for access no elevator. We would not stay at this location again.

They canceled my reservation the day I arrived. I was never notified. They stated I had a two night minimum and only booked for one night. They stated Booking.com should never have made that reservation. I had made the reservation in May!!!! I tried to book a second night on Monday, September 16, and was told they had no availability for that Friday, September20, which would have given me the 2 nights. They even gave me my reservation number! Of course they had one room left, which was a king suite and wanted to charge me double of what I already booked and paid for. Now I have to go and fight for my money back. Manager was rude and Curt!!!!!

Location was convenient walking distance to many things. Room was big, AC worked well A pool is advertised, there was no pool. The jets to the tub did not work. There was no shower option. The tub was very dirty. It was filled with sand like someone rinsed off in it after the beach. There was so much sand that it was shocking, clearly no one looked at the tub to even attempt to clean it. There was a large red pizza sauce type smear across the fridge, it was gross. It was so obvious that if someone went to wipe it down they would have seen it so we were aware that no one attempted to clean the kitchen. Our bed linens were FILTHY. Blood stains were visible on mattress through the sheets. The sheets and pillow cases had other people's make up smear all over them among other substances. It was late so we slept above the sheets on top of a blanket type thing. There was a hash mark on the like sheet someone had and accident. The sheets were so dirty is was so gross, it turned our stomachs. We did not call anyone because it was late and we were tired when we discovered it

lawn was 1 foot high at curb. Backyard was unusable, grass was too high .

Very quaint hotel , our room was victorian style. We loved the decor. We will definitley be back again.

Loved the quiet location. NEEDS UPDATES/new bathrooms! Tub stained, peeling wallpaper, broken door under sink.

Loved the hard wood floors and the full sized frig. Nice shower, too!

Box of tissues almost empty and not replaced. Fridge warm and moldy--useless. Reservation was for 3 guests, but only 2 sets of towels. Thermostat was lowered to 55 while we were out. For February in Saratoga, 62 or so would have made more sense. When we got back at midnight, room was too cold to go to bed. Damage deposit took a week to get back, even though Oyo's website says it should take a day or two for a U.S. property.

I was outraged with this hotel. I have made my booking in advance, arrived at the hotel and was denied to stay there, although the hotel was pretty much empty. The guy at the reception simply tripled the price I have paid for my booking, and said if I would not pay the difference, he would not allow me in. So I left and recommend you all to stay away from them
