Wingate by Wyndham Chicago Schaumburg

We have an EV the front desk gave us a key fob to activate it. They only have one. If someone else has it you cannot charge although the charge was free. The bathroom wall by the shower head had mold on it as the water was spraying the wall. The bathroom door was warped probably from the water leaks. We were on the second floor and the people upstairs sounded like a heard of elephants. Every time we went to the desk no one was there. I had to yell hello many times to get someone.

The front desk was nice and helpful. Bedding was comfy. Rooms were dated but clean. Bathroom was very old and needs a remodel. All of that it still would’ve been an average stay. However, there was a baseball team staying there. We had to call the front desk three times between 11:30 and 1:30 am due to the noise level. It was ridiculous. I’m not a complainer but it was unacceptable. The materials between the floors appeared to be every thin because we heard evening and all five of us had a horrible sleep.

Our pullout couch was duct taped. When we opened it, there was a moldy pee stain among other stains all over the mattress. Just disgusting.

The room was spacious and clean, the staffs were nice and helpful

Nice property and nice size room Beds and linens were comfortable and clean. Bathroom was not cleaned well. Found long hair on toilet and on sink. Floor in bathroom had not been swept or scrubbed. Bathroom shampoo was empty. Hope this helps management with better training and hiring.

The room was clean. The noise level from the room above was a bit exessive, but did not last too long. The breakfast was good. I would stay here again in the future if I find myself in the area.

Everything was ok but things were a little on the dirty side, but ok for a preflight stay.

Superb

Due to a mixup, got a room without a pull out. Double is billed to sleep 5 but doesn’t- we had one child sleeping in a chair the first night. Was told to speak to the manager the next morning but nobody was at the desk when we left in the morning for the event we were attending. When we returned at 3:30 pm, manager was gone for the day and we were told we could pay to change rooms or leave without a refund. When we did move rooms, I was doing it alone with 3 kids in tow and the front desk was calling the room less than 30 minutes later to ask if we were done moving yet. Super unpleasant experience, will not be back.

The room need to be up to date also bathroom shower had little hot water

good staff, rooms very nice the shower stall was slippery and the tub is maybe 6 inches high, making it difficult to get out

No attention to the needs of the upcoming visitors; limited supplies, coffee, tp, etc. Fridge didn't work and subsequently ruined food we purchased. Outlet on the lamp didn't work and ended up draining phones rather than recharging them. Walls are paper thin. We spent the night listening to rude and ignorant neighbors hollering and pounding on tables and walls. Do not recommend.

Great place at a great price. Great location!

Comfortable and quiet. A good breakfast and coffee available in the lobby 24/7.

This is the second time I’ve stayed here. It’s clean and both stays the place was very quiet.

Holes in walls, terrible smell

The staff was amazing. The room was huge and the breakfast was great. I loved my stay there.
