Its too far from convention center

Had bugs in bed. Was moved to different room, but can’t relax once you see them. Staff was very nice and friendly. No coffee pot in room.

Overall this hotel served it's purpose. The best part of this hotel is the free shuttle service to and from the airport. However, this was the most outdated hotel that I've ever stayed at. Unfortunately for us, we were in Chicago during Lollapalooza which drove prices up around the city. This hotel was no where near worth the amount of money we paid to stay there. Everything is outdated and worn out. Approaching the property there was no curb appeal, lack luster landscaping. Entering through the main doors, the lobby looks updated, however, the furniture is sparse, hard and visibly worn (material pilling). The hallways have outdated air conditioning units, dingy carpets and in need of fresh paint. The rooms aren't much better. Beware of dim lighting in any hotel room. The room I looked around the room the more questionable marks/spots on the walls, carpets and bedding. I'm almost certain the twin mattress in my dorm room 15 years ago was more comfortable than the mattresses in this room. The bathroom had wall paper buckling in the every corner probably due to there being no ventilation in the bathroom. The shower had black dots in the grout that I just repeatedly told myself wasn't mold. The toilet was constantly "refilling" no matter how many time I jiggled the handle. As I near my 1500 character limit, I will thank the staff that I did interact with. They were pleasant and helpful. They answered our questions about navigating the trains, etc.

Cig bitts everywhere out in front near benches. Weeds everywhere out side. Door to pool and room did not close completely. Restaurant dark and depressing. Requires decaf Four times. Not even ink in the pen in the room. Stains on all lobby chairs. Either close it down or renovate it.

Avoid this hotel at all costs! The property is outdated and poorly maintained. Our stay was highly unpleasant due to several major issues. First, the two connected buildings require a frustrating four-minute walk just to get from the lobby to the guest rooms. Furthermore, our room was never cleaned, and the carpet was visibly filthy. Although a refrigerator was explicitly listed when I booked, our room did not have one. When we requested a room change, management flatly refused to move us, despite having vacancies. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

Housekeeping came at 6:57am, knocked and immediately opened the door. I wouldn’t recommend staying at this property.

The hotel staff is friendly, efficient, the hotel rooms are “outdated” elevators are slow. My room was a single king had refrigerator and microwave that you have to unplug to use the coffee maker. Fan ran continuously and cooled to warm not cold. No other close by dining options but the price usually reflects these facts.

The first room I was in had damp carpet and an off putting smell. An attempt to remedy was made with febreeze by housekeeping. It turned out that there was a leaking faucet that was soaking the toilet paper and tissues. Maintenance came and fixed that. Then when attempting to shower the shower was stuck on scalding hot water. Maintenance asked the front desk to move me rooms at 10:30pm after checking in at 7:00pm. This property is rundown and could use a refresh. The housekeeping staff was one of the redeeming qualities of the stay.

When you make your reservation, you get a note from the manager who greets you when you get to the property. The location is convenient, the room was clean and smelled clean. The bed was comfy. It was great value.

Great hotel!

The hotel is very old and I don't believe the rooms have been updated in two decades. The room was basically clean but the carpet was very dirty. The staff was very nice.
