Motel 6 Seattle, WA - Sea-Tac Airport South

Pretty sure that there are people who also live at the hotel. If not, they have some very odd room numbers/locks on quite a few of the doors. Beds were ok, water pressure fine but for us taller people we had to question why they would install such short shower heads, Lol One of those hotels that make you question a lot of things. Front desk supervisor was incredibly rude and flat out unprofessional. I would not recommend staying here, unless you had no other options! We stayed because it was a budget hotel that didnt charge extra for parking. We will gladly pay extra next time and stay elsewhere. Morel 6 is better than this....dont be deceived by the pictures.. Gross!!

Also, our room was to be a non smoking room and it had a terrible cigarette odor. Hard to breathe.

poorly advertised shuttle and phone lines where not working

Airport shuttle broke. Dryers broke. Some rooms had some of following some didn’t: microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker. Bed spreads had cigarette burn holes (all 3 rooms we rented). Non-smoking room smelled like smoke. Took 3 tries to get room keys that worked. Employee tried entering our room at 10:30 pm (USE THE DOOR CHAIN) saying she thought it was unoccupied. Tried calling front desk but phone didn’t work. Listed phone number did not work. Floor planks.

We were able to leave our bags as we arrived early. Rooms were clean but the aircon was noisy. It was our first experience of a Motel 6 and would probably not have booked it but as the World Cup was happening, prices were very expensive at all the Hotels that we would of preferred. Hotel 6 was also higher than we would normally expect of this kind of hotel/motel but a very big bonus was the free Airport shuttle bus. Fairly close to the airport for an overnight stay!

Unfortunately, our stay was disappointing. The room was not properly cleaned, and there was a strong cigarette smell throughout the room despite expecting a non-smoking environment. The shower faucet was loose, and the hot water pressure was very low in the morning, making it difficult to shower. On top of that, we were charged twice for our stay, which was very frustrating. I hope these issues are addressed to improve the experience for future guests.

Bedding had burn holes in it, appeared clean but had stains. Shower was not cleaned and had ‘hairs’ in it. Shower water took a lot of force to get it to turn on, was a pull mechanism. $220? What a joke. Never again Motel 6. I had no idea. Pictures are very misleading.

The room was nothing like photographs. It was gross. There was what looked like random splatters of blood on the wall. The shower was stained.

I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt and It may have just been a bad night for them. But it was a very bad situation for us. First, the courtesy van to the airport was broken. (I had called the motel direct, prior to booking through Expedia to make sure they had transportation to the airport.) They explained it had broken that day. Okay, I asked about cancelling reservation and going to a different motel. I was told I had to call Expedia. Called Expedia and the guy said he had to call the hotel. He called back and said they declined my request. When I questioned and complained about it, the owner said that service is complimentary. I explained, Ishould be allowed to cancel since they did not have the service they advertised. When I called a different hotel and was going to take the loss. I was complaining, she approached me and offered to provide an uber. That I appreciate. The desk clerk that night held her composure well given her situation. The batteries ran out of power on the key card machine. When she went to change them, the entire battery pack fell out of the machine and she could not get it to operate after that. She called the owner and others and no one was able to help. People piled in and had to wait as she tried to resolve the situation. The solution was for her to use her master key card to open each room. The room was not bad, a typical Motel 6 room except some soap on the floor in the shower and smelled like smoke. It was to be non smoking.

Check in was good. We got there early and she let us check in and leave our luggage. Facility is very dated but rooms were clean. We booked this as it is close to airport and they offered free shuttle. We took the shuttle to airport to catch the train into Seattle and it brought us back. However when I went to confirm it for the morning and our flight back, I was told the transmission went out and there was no shuttle. I was told I could get a taxi or Uber. We ended up paying $114 for a ride to the airport. Feel like we should be compensated. Don’t book here.

I would avoid this hotel at all cost. The woman at the front desk was so sweet and very welcoming. But the hotel itself was very dirty and looked nothing like the pictures. There were tons of people hanging around outside and we didn’t feel safe. We ended up leaving and booking another hotel. I didn’t care about losing the money. There was no way we were going to stay.

At check in staff was unfriendly, not helpful and very moody. WiFi & TV did not work in rooms and they claimed because building was old it only worked in half building. No microwave or fridge in room as specified. Just overall not great experience.

Nicest Motel 6 I've ever seen. And free shuttle to airport.

They gave us a room that smelled horrible of smoke. Not idea how cleaning staff didn’t recognize and flag the room. Staff at front desk was apologetic and switched rooms.

Overall not the worst I’ve slept in, and convenient and easily accessible for a quick stop. That being said I would expect more for $200

The holes were terribly filthy with all kinds of trash and filled trash cans. There was no hot water in our room. It was also very difficult to figure out how to operate the shower. The Wi-Fi only worked with phones and not computer, computers or iPads. The television only showed very very fuzzy images. The shuttle to the airport was frightening. The windshield was cracked from one side to the other, the seatbelts didn’t work, and the driver was not driving safely. Normally this room I think would’ve caused $70 but because of increased needs due to the sports events, they charged $140. I would have never stayed here, but all the other hotels were filled. Terrible terrible place.
