Staypineapple, Hotel FIVE, Downtown Seattle

Clean room. Comfortable beds.

We made a simple reservation mistake and ended up one night short. I was unaware of my mistake until the hotel manager called. I assumed it could be fixed if the hotel had availability. Instead, while we were at the Seattle Zoo, the manager called and told us we had to leave right away because the hotel was full to capacity and our type of room was booked. I checked online and found multiple rooms still available, including our room type, so that claim was not true and a blatant lie. To avoid leaving my family without a room, I booked another hotel right away. About twenty minutes later, the manager called back and said we could stay after all because someone had canceled. That only made the situation more frustrating. Why the backtrack after all the stress and aggrevation. Why the lies to begin with. We are a family traveling with kids! What bothered me most was the lack of accountability. There was no sincere apology or effort to make things right. Good hotels treat guests with honesty and respect, and this one did not. I work hard for my money and expect professional treatment. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend the Hotel Five Pineapple Hotel. Seattle has many better options stay elsewhere.

Ok but USB ports didn’t work

Rooms seem dark for me, with the darker colors, lighting could be brighter especially for women putting on makeup, bring a well light make up mirror.

This hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was very helpful when we needed directions or suggestions for food. The room came with two free drinks. I would highly recommend this property.

This hotel is so cute. We were there for one night and felt so welcomed by the staff, rooms were spacious and the location was in walking distance to the pier. Would stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Although we were there for just one night, we were impressed by the bedding, it was fantastic! Parking can be a bit tricky, but that’s the case throughout Seattle. One great perk is that they allow you to keep your car until 4 PM on the day of checkout, which was perfect since we wanted to explore a bit. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the Space Needle and Pike Place Market.

Great location fantastic amenities close to everything. The staff was helpful and so friendly, they made our trip truly mentionable. Cannot recommend this hotel enough

My daughters room hadd a broken air conditioner one night. The night staff said there was on one to fix it and didn't offer another room. The morning staff compensated the charge for that night.

From the moment I opened the door, I was greeted with a smile and a hello. The hotel is fun with a pineapple theme around. I even got a water bottle that I could refill at their little cafe..with a pineapple on it. The beds were comfy and they have a blanket that is wonderful. This was a last minute purchase and I was so pleased!

Wonderful stay! We will be back :)
