The location was perfect! Around 10 mins walking to and from the central train and bus station and about 20 mins from the main attractions. There was a fresh fruits and vegetabkes market less than 10 mins away. There was a park and a grocery store just across the building. The owner and his staff were both very prompt and attentive to what I requested and needed information of. Wifi worked well. The room is of decent size and I can move around freely. AC was a lifesaver as it was the warm/hot season when I stayed. The place was very clean -- common areas and toilets. There was a kitchen and a dining area. The view of the city especially at night was a huge plus. The lift/elevator was 'interesting' and needs some time to get used to. I wish it were curtains and not blinds because even when the blinds closed, natural light still leeks through and I am not used to having the sunset at 9pm. Also, not the hostel's fault but some guests do not know how to close the door slowly and gently, they keep slamming the door even at night. Overall, it was a great value for my money and I am satisfied with my stay.

The nice atmosphere in the hostel. In case you are a single traveler , it's a nice place to meet people and hang out with them. The lift and the building was too old. Some people were noice late at night.

It was comfortable and friendly. The host was kind enough to give advice on Sofia, and some free croissants were provided. The internet worked well. The views were a real highlight.

I was only going to stay here for a few nights but got robbed and lost all of my valuables. The host kindly escorted me to the embassy and I started to get things sorted out. The host also let me stay as long as needed I got my new passport. The price for the extra nights was very good and I paid in cash after I left. I'm very grateful for all this help in a tough situation! The location is a bit sketchy being close to the train station. Just be careful. Unfortunately the room didn't have a safe, although I felt comfortable leaving my things in the room while I was away.

Location is alright, well connected to the center through line 2 of the metro and tramway lines. Common parts are well-equipped. Mattress was as thin as can be, maybe an hand's length-thick, thus particularly uncomfortable. Heating wasn't turned on beforehands and, as such, room temperature was at 13°C when I arrived. Someone also entered my room in my absence to turn heating off (although I only kept it at the bare minimum). Appliances and utilities were rusty, esp. in the bathroom, and would need to be updated.

Lucio was a very kind host and he was very helpful in accommodating my late check in.

location is very convenient! it's near the subway station - so through the subway it's easy to get from/to airport. The main railway station is also there. pretty cool mountain view, if your room is on the right side :) I really appreciated snacks treatment Independent AC unit in your room allows you to get any temperature walls and window glass are thin: it means your comfort may depend on your neighbors.

New bedding is necessary. It's clean but it's just too used.

The place was very clean, Lucio was very accommodating and gave good food recommendations. The place was kept very clean and it's bot often you can find a hostel atmosphere at the right price with all private rooms and good cooking facilities.

Spotless cleanliness; very kind, helpful, and response host; nice views; thoughtful touches. Multiple bathrooms (4 toilets, 2 showers) are shared, so you never need to wait. Overall, a great stay that exceeded expectations. Public transport nearby as well was convenient.
