Courtyard Somerset by Marriott

The room we booked was NOTHING like the description on the site. One king bed and one pull out sofa that was supposed to be a full, however it was a twin. Couldn’t walk through the room with the pull out open. Room too small for one adult and one child and it was advertised to fit 4 people. Expedia online staff were difficult to deal with, couldn’t get a refund, couldn’t switch rooms and couldn’t change hotels. Absolutely horrendous customer service

No breakfast

Business friendly. Good customer service. The Peloton bike was having problems to connect to the internet. Breakfast is not included but a good variety and choice are available for an additional charge.

Staff kind. Clean hotel. No bugs. Looks newer. 1 set of washer/dryer. Pool opened till 10p.

Good location, close to the highway. Seems to be near a University with apparently quite some places to eat in the area. Hotel seems to be in need of a bit of TLC. We had dinner in the restaurant, seems to be a chain which we were not familiar with (as Europeans) which was just ok. Had breakfast at Pierce Street Bagel which is a few minutes away, highly recommended if your room does not include breakfast.

Also, A/C stopped working. Reported this Wed. morning and staff repairman got it working by the afternoon, but it stopped working again that evening. Instead of reporting it, we got the fan continuously blowing and we cracked a window and that got us to the end of our stay (Friday morning). Staff was very responsive to our needs.

The rooms was very clean no issues. Staff was super nice and friendly. Even gave me an upgrade😊 Gym was easily accessible. The pool was being worked on so we were able to gain access. But overall loved it. Will be back

Good location, clean and great staff

Did not use the amenities. Lounge area but Starbucks was never opened. There is a Ruby Tuesday restaurant. No bar or lounge area. Over all great for if you are staying there to sleep only for events. I stayed three nights for a wedding

Clean, good staff The complaint is not about the property itself; but there was half the hotel taken up by a police group doing a three day ride and one group was right next-door to us and another across the hall and we’re very noisy until midnight!! I called and complained to I believe her name was Sharon. She was polite. I asked her to go check. She said she listened for five minutes and they were quiet and they were for off and on this was around 11:30. I asked if I could change rooms and it seems like it was gonna be a challenge because the different police squads were all over the hotel. Future years they should put the police all on one floor and those that would like to be quiet or maybe on the third floor and the police are on the first floor so we don’t hear them if they decide to stay up late!!!!!
