Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Heavenly Village Area

The only thing I liked about this lodge was that it was nearby to the main south lake tahoe. Other than that its very expensive for poor conditions of the bathroom and overall property. Don’t make me even talk about breakfast. It was nothing but waffle and some frozen breakfast sandwich. Coffee was really bad with just one big bottle of sweet creamer. The breakfast place and lobby is combined and can get really crowded. People were leaving coz there was literally no place to sit. If you are booking this hotel thinking you will save some money on breakfast then this is not the place! Will not stay at this place again.

I liked their free breakfast which was very good.

Always a pleasant experience and the staff is extremely friendly and pleasant.

I stay there for work quite a bit. The staff is always pleasant and very helpful. The breakfast is okay. Most of the rooms are brand new except for a mattress or two, but otherwise a very pleasant stay every time.

The tub in our room was spacious, the water temp and pressure were amazing, the room was clean, and the bed was comfy. Definitely worth the price and I'd love to come back again!

Front office manager vey pleasant and helpful

The room had stains on the walls and smelled heavily of smoke. The linens were also stained and there was a pretty serious ant infestation in the room. On the plus side the staff checking us in was friendly and the pet fee was very reasonable. That said, we won't be booking here again given the other issues during our stay.

It was a nice experience.

The stay was great and the room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. There is a major problem outdoors on this property though, there’s a pool that has very green stagnant water. I get the pool is not currently operational but that water should really be drained out just due to the mosquito and bacterial breeding grounds. The hotel was great and I would stay again but the pool’s status needs to be maintained even if it’s just making sure water isn’t stagnant in there

I don’t think the bathroom sink was plumbed in correctly, after shaving, I tried to empty the water in the sink and it went down the plug and then spilled out over the open pipe below the sink. I was going to say something on check out but the woman was in the phone to a customer.

The staff were great. Check in was easy, we stayed in a king bed room. Room was descent only bad thing was that perhaps they didn’t vacuumed well. There were lots of dogs hair in the carpet. I asked front desk to come clean and it and they did. Over all it was a good stayed.

Good location and good breakfast items.
