The location. The room. TV was hard to understand how to work it. Staff did help us but we had trouble with TV the next day also. Spa does not have easy access to get in it like a step down to get inside.

This place was good, but could be better. Stayed at the watermark room which I was told had a jetted tub and had shower curtains incase we chose to use them but we got the opposite on both items. No huge deal. It is more like a couples room. Like the concept. Some of the stuff felt a little old and could be updated. As you walk into the hotel itself it is pretty humid and carpet is pretty old and dirty. My biggest disappointment was the letdown on the jetted tub but other than that the staff was great.

The bed was comfortable and the spa bath was clean. The location was wonderful! I just wish the property had provided a couple of bottles of water and some coffee and tea as courtesy. These are very standard and basic but unfortunately these things weren’t supplied. I had just come from a very long drive to get to Lake Tahoe and it would have been so nice to have had a bottle of water minimum at my arrival.

Good - location, shower/spa tub, water pressure, price. Room was clean. Not so good - property safety, parking lot, customer service, shower/spa tub in room Parking lot entrance - Had “Beware of bear” sign on door but was propped open and unlocked. I don’t believe the door was ever locked. Overgrown weeds, spittoon (ashtray), and trash can right by door. Fellow guest showed video of bear getting into trash can early in morning. Shower/spa tub - is in room. There are curtains and lots of mirrors. Tub had been patched. Questioned whether to use or not. Customer service - had I been alone, I might have found other accommodations. Guy at check-in desk was crotchety. Key cards - had to have replaced twice.

The room is not what I expected. Lot of things were old and broken. Also upon walking in it had a bad smell. The Ac made a terrible noise. Other than offering the hot tub it really has nothing else to offer.

Bed is very comfortable. Ideal location walkable to downtown and nearby all the South Lake Tahoe main attractions. Staff is friendly. Price is much more affordable than many accommodations in Tahoe. Unfortunately, the pictures make it look a lot nicer than it is. The hallway carpet is very dirty and needs to be replaced and the hallway lighting is so low it resembles a dungeon. The actual room was in better condition.
