The look and the vibe Tv remote didn’t work

Expensive restaurant/bar. Had someone walk into my room even though I had do not disturb on, was fine and they apologized.

I just arrived Melbourne, i booked the "rockstar suite " well firstly, i am biased because it is totally my vibe-- 70's rock n roll but the room was huge, clean, the beds so comfy, the black out curtains so you can sleep when you want i also asked for a quiet room, that was accomodated the staff were so kind and friendly -- every time the private bar and old cassette tapes , so so so cool the bathroom had a huge bathtub and double shower heads ! i was trying to explore Melbourne but the room sucked me in books on Bowie and the Stones, good speaker wish there was. a record player but i have 000 complaints... i will be back for sure also a great area full of great bars and restaurants also because i am an artist and so sensitive to noise, i loved that the hallways were carpeted, so i did not even hear housekeeping pass by just quiet and i could get work done and relax well designed hotel for sure ! the heating was a bit strange-- and on sensors... ( keep it simple but not their fault, ) but they were kind enough to bring me a mini heater- thank you =)

Perfect location just off Chapel st. Very clean room, lovely staff and great bar/restaurant (Bar Yarra) Great for a solo traveller but probably not for a shared room, the corrugated glass bathroom creates little privacy.

I am glad breakfast was included. It was delicious and served in a timely manner. Wifi was great for casting to watch tv. Bed and pillows were very comfy. I tried to do a load of laundry while there and the washer ruined some of my clothing. When I pulled it out it almost looked like some parts of the clothing were melted.

The room is quite tiny if you have many lugages.

Cool Vibes right in the Heart of it All This place is so beautifully appointed with a nice retro feel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and the Margs were next level! Will come again for a solo trip some time!

Clean. Easy. Nice and new. They charged me for wine that I never drank from a Mimi bar that has no menu either.

Curtains ! I couldnt sleep because of the light pollution.

Staff was friendly and accommodating.

The bed wa nice. No cat swinging. No parking that makes sense. Nowhere to load and unlaod unless there are numerous preconditions met and various causes and contions are present. Black hard to find buttons for electicals that are a right pain. Having to take turns moving in the room. Expected yes, in Tokyo.

Breakfast was very underwhelming for the cost

The style and comfy room. Couldn’t check in on time. Was 90mins late being able to access our room. Was also charged for mini bar items that weren’t consumed. Blinds were broken.

Great location, easy parking, clean & comfortable room, lovely staff, fun atmosphere upon entry, pool table & downstairs lounge a plus.

All the little bits

- Very low water pressure and hose not working - Vegan only restaurant - Had to change room initially as the noise outside was unbearable - New room wasn’t used for such time - was dusted and smelled stale - It is completely different level (lower) than Ovolo Brisbane

Water pressure in the shower was lacking and there was barely enough hot water to fill the tub each night. Lighting around the pool table and positioning could be better. Vacuuming the rug in our room could have been done as there was hair and rubbish on the floor. Fridge doesn't get cold enough to keep fruit fresh or drinks cold.

Staff were professional, welcoming and very happy to help. The rooms were comfortable and modern. The location to public transport, shops and cafes/restaurants makes the Ovolo a great choice if you're visiting Melbourne and can't or don't want to, stay in the CBD. A more thorough job of cleaning please, the back of the entry door to the room hadn't been cleaned and clearly had something on it from the previous guest.
