Awesome room. Pillows were terrible.. too big and hard Pillows

Great location for the restaurants and bars of Chapel street The pool was too cold to swim in. The room itself was bland and colourless and in need of a facelift. It was the bare minimum, it didn’t feel luxurious which is what I was expecting in this location.

Location Grand piano Corridor was undergoing renovations Drawer in room wouldn’t close Didn’t feel like value for money. For a penthouse it lacked the panache and zeal I had hoped for.

Finding the reception from the carpark was not clear at all. Walked around for awhile with heavy bags before I found it

Main part of the room was functional, nad nicely presented. Nice ot have access to an out door garden area and ability to open to fresh air Room (and bathroom in partcular) are getting pretty tired. Condition of Garden area outside was abysmal. Dead plants, uncared for. Looks like it hasn't been touched in years. Needs complete overhaul.

Location cannot be beaten. Decor is a little tired. Room service willing and polite, but a bit erratic - towels not replaced, rooms cleaned very late…

Room was spacious. Bed & Pillows were comfortable. Room was outdated as was the bathroom and bath tub. Outdoor courtyard extremely dirty.

The facilities are pretty average for a hotel of this standard and reception area including lounges is below average.

Room was very quiet as requested. Bed very comfy. The location was perfect as I wanted to be close to Prahran. Car parking on site out the front was perfect.

- really valued the upgrade on arrival - the blue rubber duck in the bathroom - property in major need of an upgrade/update - looking old - cleanliness of bathrooms questionable - some mould around the jets in the spa bath - having 1 x soap and 1 x body lotion cannister nailed to the wall is what you'd expect from a budget hotel - not the Como - irritating having to stand up in the bath everytime i needed to dispense soap in to my hand - breakfast was not to expectation - no pastries, no self serve toast, simply a small bowl of aged fruit in a bowl - we were a family of three - two adults and a 5YO child - not enough towels provided - car parking is expensive given it's not sheltered or protected. i could see my car from my the room window and paid $49 for that which wasn't really worth it. I could've parked in the street for less - no ambience in the brasserie - no music, deathly silent, very cold and unfeeling

The staff were extremely attentive and helpful. The location was great. The bathroom, in particular, the bath/shower, needs updating. Extremely outdated and the room was just average (we expected more for the room rate we paid).

Very nice hotel. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

It’s easy for Ubers to pull up outside The room was outdated, the shower would be completely inaccessible to a lot of people given the ludicrously high step to get into it. The whole venue is incredibly outdated and poorly maintained. You will also have to carry your luggage up and down multiple flights of stairs to get from reception to the lift.
