Friendly staff, good breakfast, convenient to both the train station and the old town
-
Nothing.
-
Convenient location, quiet rooms, comfortable. The terrace was nice and loved the foyer seating areas Only comment is that the bathroom had no toilet paper holder
-
The parking is kinda impossible to access. The big bed is two small bed. The breakfast was médium quality, with some pain au chocolat not bakery enough.

The ClapClap Hotel's location is about 400 meters from Strasbourg's main train station and car rental facilities. That made it a very convenient stop on my trip from Germany to France. While I waited for my check-in time, there was a comfortable lounge and a lockable storage room available for me and my luggage. The reception was open 24/7. Staff was very friendly and ready to help with restaurant recommendations.

Location was OK - not as close to the train station as I would've liked, but closer than many other places

The location of the hotel is good - just next to the city center, which is easily reachable on foot - about 5-10 Minutes. There is also a tram station just outside the hotel. The trams come very quick, with just a few minutes in between. You have a lot of stores in the area, so you can grab a quick bite to eat. The room was clean and functional, the beds were very comfortable. We managed to sleep very well. It was also very quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - not a lot of variety, but fresh. You had your basics - ham, cheese, yogurt, jam, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, pastry. All in all a good breakfast. They have parking in a garage just across the street at 17 Euros a day. Be aware that you have to drive on the sidewalk, this being a pedestrian zone. But do not worry, because you receive all the information upon your arrival. There is even a video on the internet site of the hotel with all the information. The price was OK for a family with 2 kids. The color scheme of the place is a bit on the dark side. That was the case for the part of the building we were in - dark blue walls and black doors. I guess it is in style with the cinema theme. Not really a negative, just a matter of taste. There was also a slight dusty smell in the floor, maybe poor ventilation. The lack of furniture - we a had a small table, 2 chairs and a small cupboard by the entrance. No closets to store your belongings. A small fridge would be nice, but you know this from the get go, so no minus points there.

It’s 5 min walk to Petite France, very comfortable location. The room was clean. They have breakfast buffet, which is convenient.

We had a fantastic visit during Christmas at this hotel. The staff was warm and cheerful and while I expected some limited options during the holiday they were readily available at all hours. We enjoyed hanging out at the bar downstairs and my kids loved the hot chocolate. The beds were a little uncomfortable after a couple nights, but otherwise the rooms were nice.

The location of the hotel was perfect for my family and I. I traveled with 2 kids ages 9 & 11 and a senior citizen. We were able to walk from the train station with luggage to the hotel with ease. The location was perfect as we only had to cross the bridge to be in old town , less than a 5min walk to enjoy the lights, smells and sounds of the Christmas markets. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for good value and location. Don't let the map throw you off with the visual distance, as it was totally manageable for the 5 of us. Location

Bed and pillows were comfortable. Bathroom mirror was techy! Reception were exceptional. They helped us 3 times from replacing our room key, free water bottle to our room when we asked and hot water for our cup noodles when we craved for ramen to eat at but could not find one in Petit France. Breakfast was excellent. Loved the green juice. American bacon. The scrambled eggs were the best by far from all the hotels in Europe I have been too, creamy. There was only one pillow. Bathroom was really chilly and cold as the cold outdoor condition was able to convect into the bathroom. Room and decor were dated.

location wasn't the best. A bit pricey.

The room size was good. The bathroom is spacious with good shower facilities. The hotel is within walking distance from the train station. And walkable around the town. Nothing
