I used to come to this hotel every single summer for 2 weeks, for like 5 consecutive summers. Coming back 13 years later it’s pretty much the same. Food is great for lunch and dinner, excellent kitchen and friendly staff. But the breakfast used to be bad and still is. The cheese looks like it’s been sitting for hours, the vegetables are not looking fresh .. not like the ones you get when you order from the restaurant. Breakfast really needs some attention ….the lounge chairs around the pool are very dirty and I won’t be surprised if they are the same from a decade ago. The staff are friendly everywhere except the girls at reception. The waitresses and waiters are very sweet. Reception doesn’t seem happy to be there. The rooms need major upgrade the sink area and the shower are were dirty the outlet in the bathroom falls apart the hairdryer still the same from 15 years ago lol and the shower handle is broken that’s a hazard. The hotel used to be trendy and nice now there’s no effort, no upgrades, kind of sad. The beach is nice and the pool is very nice ! Cute boutique on site. Some of the same people go there which is why they probably maintain a good revenue but they need to keep up with renovation. May come back in the future but there’s many other great resorts outside Bulgaria, dune is definitely not it anymore. Has great potential but I think the only people that go there are the ones that are used to going there or don’t know better.

Location was amazing. The hotel smelled great. Reception staff were very friendly. Balcony sea view was great. Parking was available Pool facilities are amazing The private beach allows you to have privacy and sun beds were spaced out which was great. Definitely will revisit. No hand soap in the bathroom. No shower gel only small white soap. The room light is very bright there is a big lamp which can be used but there is no plug to connect it to. Nowhere to hang your wet clothes. Bathroom was constantly flooded as the shower head was loose.

The hotel is perfect in every aspect. It is the one and only hotel directly on the beach + beachbar with service, a pool which is never crowded, a lot of comfy free beach chairs with a lot of space in between. Super friendly and helpful staff and valet parking. Spacious rooms with everything, including enough lights (not in all hotels), quality soaps and drinks. The silent airco continuous working when not in the room. There is soft music playing through the complete hotel, every room has a balcony. I would suggest to book one of the seaview rooms. The Sunny Beach promenade runs behind the hotel, everything including restaurants within meters of the hotel. The hotel restaurant serves excellent food with a good choice at a fair price. Nothing to dislike.

This is the only hotel in the area that is built directly on the beach. The private beach is fantastic and is clearly the most luxurious in the area- there is plenty of space between the sturdy, good quality sunbeds and plenty of sunbeds to go around, so no scrambling around for these. The place is a oasis of calm in the chaotic Sunny Beach. We were on the top floor with a big balcony, sea view, very private and quiet. As I travelled right at the end of the season the area and hotel were possibly quieter than usual. This made things very relaxing for me and I’d definitely love to come back at a similar time of year again. We had to get help in the room twice for the safe- first to show us how to use this (instructions would be useful) and again to have the battery replaced. Both times the staff came to the room almost immediately. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff was mixed. The receptionist was a little rude when we were checking out- she seemed frustrated at having to repeat herself when telling us the amount that was owed. We might not have had to ask her to repeat if there was some context- she simply told us a number. We had to request an itemised bill. In case you have a late flight, there is no shower for guests to use once you have checked out. When you charge food and drinks to your room, you are not asked to sign or even to give your name. This seems like it might be open to abuse. We didn’t have any problems and I haven’t seen any detailed in other reviews so I suppose that they have their systems for monitoring this. You are asked not to bring in any outside food or drink. There is a sign in the room above the minibar reminding guests of this. I can appreciate the reasons for some restrictions but the idea of not having any snacks (or bottled water?!) in your room seems a bit much.

We came in early July & we liked it so much we decided to come again because uk had gotten a little cold earlier. The same 5* treatment both stays. I did not book 10 days instead of 7 ?

Everything ❤️? This is a beautiful piece of cake ?on the middle of the sunny beach resort! The staff is very friendly, mostly young people, speaking English and having a great attitude! The room was big enough and comfortable looking at the sea! Very clean! This hotel has everything to offer ! Food is good in the restaurant have great selection for breakfast! Free beach access ( this is the only place in sunny beach on top of the beach) The pool is big enough and clean! We stay only 2 days as a part of our trip to wedding in Varna, but we definitely coming back for more time! Thank you ? ❤️ Non

Staff were as always very friendly. Location is great. Have been coming here for a few years now and this was not up to the normal standard I normally have. The property generally has become I bit run down. All areas need some TLC. Our bathroom had mould around the shower screen.

The hotel is very central, has all you want at your finger tips. Rooms where cleaned every day, standard where very high quality. Would definitely return,absolutely first class facilities,staff where so helpful and friendly also, staff couldn’t do enough for you always a friendly smile at reception and when having breakfast. Beach and pool facilities, fresh towels everyday. Breakfast could go a bit later than 10.30am
