The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Helpful people in suggesting where we should go for a coffee and a meal while we’re were on there for a short time. The cleanliness of the dining room furniture was very off putting. The fabric chairs, covered and not, were filthy. Seems like such an easy fix to clean. In general things seemed ready for a good deep cleaning and upgrades. I appreciate our room was clean, although I do think hotel rooms should not have carpet in this day and age. It was good to have slippers available. Breakfast was not appealing to us. I understand this is supposed to be a budget hotel, in a city. But for the price we paid, things could have been better.

Unfavorable smell (problem in pumbling?) at the lobby and along the room corridor at level 5. But it's OK in the room, the smell didn't come to the room.

The location is great. It’s within walking distance of the big Tunjungan Mall, where you can find almost everything. You can use the pedestrian overpass right in front of the hotel, which even has an elevator. It is very convenient if you’re bringing a baby stroller like we did. I’m not sure if it’s safe to use very late at night, but when we got back to the hotel around 8:30 pm, it was still fine. The breakfast had a nice variety of food. Before our arrival, we also received a WhatsApp message asking about our arrival time, and the staff were very helpful throughout our stay. When we arrived, we found the bathroom a bit flooded because the tap on the sink hadn’t been closed properly. Since we arrived later in the afternoon and had another appointment to catch, we asked if a new room could be prepared. Unfortunately, no other rooms were available at the time, so it took a little while for the bathroom to be cleaned.

The biggest shopping mall is just a minute away, so the location is great, though you do hear the street noises during the night. Everything was clean, the staff was nice.

The front desk personnel were helpful, excellent to deal with and spoke English. I arrived early and used their baggage storage prior to the 2pm check in. I was pleasantly surprised to be assigned a room located on the top 17th floor with an amazing view of the city. Being so high up also meant that the room was very quiet with no street noise. The enormous Tunjungan Plaza shopping center with a food court and Hero Supermarket is conveniently located across the street and is a 5 minute walk away using the pedestrian bridge located in front of the hotel. Security was excellent with a 24 hour front desk, key card access for both the elevator and room and a safe provided within the room. The room was exactly as depicted in the photos and larger than expected. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The AC unit kept the room nice and cool. The room was spotlessly clean including the bathroom. The shower water was strong and had consistent hot water with shampoo, body wash and toiletries provided. The wi-fi was also fast and consistent. Bottled drinking water, coffee, tea, and sugar packets were provided and replenished if used daily during room cleaning. The mini fridge kept the drinking water cool. I did not eat any meals at the hotel. I found my overall experience to be exceptional and would recommend anyone to stay here when visiting Surabaya. None

The hotel's location is conveniently across from Tunjungan Plaza, offering excellent value. The friendly and accommodating staff enhance the experience. Its proximity to Tunjungan's nightlife is also convenient, and I have enjoyed previous stays there. There is nothing to dislike.

Very good hotel in central Surabaya. Our room didn't have a normal use refrigerator in the room, i asked their helped to keep my cheese at their normal storage what i brought from Europe. Because their "refrigerator" only can cooling until 19 celcius (almost room temperature).

the breakfast was ok, though not impressive; the hotel is located opposite of the Tunjungan Mall which is one of the largest Malls in entire Indonesia and at the start of Tunjungan road which is kind of the main downtown road of Surabaya with many cafes and restaurants; when I complained about the the cleanliness of the room they had given me, the cleanliness manager of the hotel showed up and inspected the issues I had to complain about and transferred me to an alternative room of the same room class which indeed had acceptable cleanliness this place has major cleanliness issues - see the photos I have uploaded (these are all from the first room they tried to give me, in the second room they gave me after my complaint, these issues did not exist - but, of course, the question emerges: why do they rent out such rooms in the first place?)... given the price of about 70 Euro a night costed for me, this is clearly and without any discussion absolutely unacceptable... this hotel has obviously major problems in ensuring standard cleanliness and hygiene in the rooms it rents out to guests for fairly high prices given the general price level in Indonesia - in Jakarta, it's easy to find hotels with exemplary cleanliness of the rooms for less than 50 Euros a night, so what this hotel offers is far away from international cleanliness standards - so the word "Swiss" in the name of the hotel is obviously completely misleading... there is really nothing in that hotel which corresponds to Swiss standards of tidiness and management quality... I really cannot understand how that hotel can get an average evaluation of 8.2 out of 10 - this is clearly not corresponding to reality according to my experience in that hotel.
