City proper. Accessible to train and bus stations. Near 7-11. The staff were also friendly and speak English. ?? So far none. Aside from the price of rooms during weekends kinda a little expensive.

The location was perfect, I was only in Taiwan for 2 nights and got to do so much because of how conveniently located. Also, I messed up and booked two rooms. I meant to cancel one when I changed to a different room type but I didn't see it through correctly it seems and when I arrived I was told I couldn't cancel of course. But the staff were really nice about it and seemed to genuinely feel bad for me and had no coldness or aloofness about the situation. It was really hard to sleep because people were playing in the hall. I should have called the front desk but I assumed security would handle it, or that they'd leave soon enough. I'm not sure if they were other guests or just local delinquents, but they played in the hall watching videos on full volume, laughing, shouting, running around, for several hours from around midnight to 4am. I couldn't sleep at all. I was too scared to go out and say something because I'm a woman by myself and not really big, and it was several boys. I've never witnessed something like this ever. I went my only day in Taiwan on almost no sleep... I don't understand the language so I really don't know why they chose to hang out on a random hotel floor. The air conditioner is super loud so I had originally turned it off but I ended up using it at around 4am and managed to muffle their noises and finally sleep.

The AC did not cool the room down well. Luckily there was an extra fan but I had to sit by it to cool down.
