Families with Children – Please Read Before Booking! This was my second stay at this hotel. I stayed here last year and had a pleasant experience, which is why I decided to return with my family this year. We are a family of four with two children. I booked two separate rooms (one triple room and one double room) and paid extra for the breakfast-included option when making my reservation. However, during check-in, the staff informed me that the hotel had recently changed its breakfast policy and that children's breakfasts were no longer included, even if you booked a breakfast-inclusive rate. They explained that this information was only mentioned in a note within the confirmation email, rather than being made clear during the booking process. I explained that I had selected the number of guests correctly, paid for the breakfast-inclusive option based on my family size, and naturally expected breakfast to be included for everyone in the reservation. Unfortunately, the staff refused to make any exception. As a result, our check-in was delayed for more than an hour, late at night after a long international flight and train journey. During this time, another family with children arrived and experienced exactly the same problem. They were also asked to pay additional breakfast charges for their children. When they questioned the policy, they were told that if they were unhappy, they could cancel their reservation and find another hotel. Imagine arriving in Japan after many hours of travel with tired children, only to spend your first evening arguing at the reception desk instead of getting some rest. Seeing how exhausted my children were, I reluctantly paid the additional breakfast charges for our entire stay just so we could finally check in. The other family was still arguing with reception even after we had gone to our room. I later asked the staff whether this happened to every family with children. Their answer was yes.

The room was spacious, the staff was very nice. It is also near different train stations Location. It was a little bit far from downtown.

The breakfast is really good and great value - great variety. The staff were all very nice across the board and always did their best to help with anything at all. Nice little touches with complimentary origami pieces, additional toiletries etc were a nice touch. We all really enjoyed our stay here. It's well located between multiple trainlines depending on the direction you're travelling. You just need to be prepared to walk for 8-10 mins to get to the station - which was fine for us. With luggage it's a bit hard - if you have a lot maybe a quick cab ride would be helpful.

breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so kind. Rooms weren’t too small compared to some other hotels in Tokyo! Forwarded our luggage to the next hotel for very cheap and gave us fresh linen everyday. It is also such an amazing location if you want to be near all the big areas but also want some peaceful quiet. There were only 3 washing machines so it was difficult to wash clothes at times
