Overall, the service at the hotel is outstanding. The only downside is that the property is a bit dated and hasn’t been fully renovated. The interior has a classic, vintage charm—if you want to put it positively—though others might simply describe it as showing its age. That said, considering how long the hotel has been around, it has been very well maintained, and overall I think it’s an excellent hotel. Overall, I think the rooms could benefit from a renovation, as some of the furnishings and fixtures are starting to show their age.

Location proximity to the trains was great (the hidden subway access to the trains from Basement level B2 was a bonus) as well as the plethora of toiletries in the room were great to have. We loved the breakfast buffet in the 'Enchante' restaurant.

The location and the service Furnitures and interior are a bit aged

Location is good. This is not a 5 star hotel. Immediately upon check in we had to ask to switch rooms because the room we were given had extremely stained carpet and so many scuff marks on wallpapers. At first the front desk told me they didn’t have another room of our room type so we would need to wait until next day and when I said there is no way we will stay in a room with carpet this dirty and stained they somehow found a room of the same room type to move us to. Carpet was a little better in that room but wallpaper still had scuff marks. The bathroom tile had mold in the grout in multiple places. The tub had mold where corners met. Furniture had scuff marks as well. The lobby smells ok, but both floors we were on and both rooms we had smelled like mold and mildew as soon as you exited the elevator. Most of the service was ok. However the two men who worked front desk at night shift on June 13th were so rude and unhelpful. I had ordered UberEats 4x around 10-11pm to get food for my son and I after a long day at Disney. The Uber delivery people told me the front desk staff that night refused to help them by calling my room to let me know when they were downstairs so I could come down in time and pick up our food order. So deliveries kept failing. Every night before that the front desk staff would call my room as soon as Uber delivery was in the lobby and everything was seamless. Except that night. So my son and I had to eat crackers and chips for dinner because the front desk staff refused to help me coordinate UberEats delivery. It was a horrible experience and not at all what I have ever experienced at other 5 star hotels. I will never come back to stay here again.

Second time to stay in Dai-ichi, and it is our best pick in Ginza: big spacious rooms, value for money, friendly staff, good location near malls and restaurant. Highly recommended especially if traveling with children.

From check in to check out, the staff at the hotel treated us very well. We were greeted with a smile and bow each time we exited or entered the property. They were so professional and courteous. The location is also excellent. Minutes walking to many eateries, shopping, and cultural activities. Being across the street from Shinbashi station is a plus!!! The rooms were comfortable and pretty spacious by Japan standards. Very clean and pretty well maintained. We will be staying here again for sure!!! Thank you Dai-ichi Hotel Tokyo and Aloha. Nothing.

Property is very classic which is refreshing staff struggled with english not all could speak adequately .. some even would get upset if you couldn't speak Japanese .. this is a full Japanese hotel so I was expecting this anyways .. house keeping did not fully clean the rooms too

This was our first stay at this hotel during one of our many visits to Tokyo, and it was an excellent experience for our family. We stayed in a Junior Suite which was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable, with a wonderful view of Tokyo Tower that we enjoyed both day and night. The location was outstanding. The hotel is well connected to both JR and Metro lines, making it easy to reach Ginza, Tokyo Station, Shibuya, and other major attractions. We also loved the neighborhood which felt lively yet relaxed, with plenty of restaurants, cafes, and convenience stores nearby. The lounge was another highlight of our stay, we visited it many times and always enjoyed the comfortable atmosphere, great service, and excellent selection of refreshments. Overall, the hotel offered a perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and hospitality. There was very little to dislike during our stay. If there was one small area for improvement, it would be to offer a slightly wider breakfast selection. Other than that, everything met our expectations.

The staff was amazing. We had two ravelers in wheelchairs, the staff was so friendly and helpful.

-
only thing that upset me was that there is no GYM. and the solution of the next building do's does not meet my expectation, it is not part of the hotel properties, and it is a bit dated

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Wonderful Start to Our Tokyo Adventure – Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo We chose Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo for the first four nights of our trip and it set the perfect tone for our entire stay in Japan. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed. The rooms were spacious — which is not always a given in Tokyo — and made a huge difference for our group. Having comfortable, roomy accommodations to come back to after long days of exploring was exactly what we needed. The location was excellent. Being well-situated in Tokyo means everything when you’re trying to make the most of your time, and Dai-Ichi Hotel did not disappoint on that front. The staff were consistently professional and welcoming throughout our stay. That warm, attentive service truly added to the overall experience and made us feel right at home in a foreign city. If you’re planning a trip to Tokyo and looking for a hotel that combines space, location, and great service, I would absolutely recommend Dai-Ichi Hotel Tokyo. It was a fantasticn home base for our adventure and a great way to kick off our Japan trip!
