ICI HOTEL Ueno Shin Okachimachi

Staffs are friendly The room is very small and far from the metro.

Breakfast is underwhelming and the same every day, I recommend not prepaying it and even then, only if you really like having breakfast in the hotel. Plenty of establishments nearby serving good food. A few doors down is a restaurant open 23 hours a day with an English tablet menu, which I would recommend instead.

The location and installations

The gentleman at the front desk was super helpful with getting our tickets printed. He really went above and beyond. I think his name was D. Marudo.

Hotel romms are small but enough, staff is very helpful and location is just perfect

Quiet location but still convenient to get to the attractions we wanted to see. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was smaller than we are accustomed to. Breakfast was just okay.

Close to train station, friendly staff

The staffs are helpful and friendly but the room is too small that I couldn’t even move with luggages. Other than that the room is very clean. Good location as it’s near by most of great famous locations in Tokyo. Room is too small.

room and hotel overall were clean. room was quiet at night. room is tiny (no closet, bed pushed against wall so access only from 1 side). only 2 pillows provided on a double bed and they were thin and hard. water temperature in the shower fluctuated badly and constantly. 6-night stay and never could take a comfortable shower, water constantly swinging between too hot to stand in and fairly cold without ever touching the controls.

Good value for a short stay. Also located perfectly near ueno/ asakusa and akihabara.

Very average breakfast, dry small room

The location is close to subway station and convenience stores. Clean and staff are friendly. The only feedback i can say is that its not ideal of you have too luggages as the room area is only good for solo travellers

Convenient and close to a lot of atteactions and restaurants

The staff were very helpful whenever my friend and I had any needs or questions. Incredibly accommodating to holding our luggage post-check out so we could enjoy Ueno/Tokyo before leaving for Hakuba. The bathrooms are very compact, but it didn't really hurt our experience overall.

My only complaint is that the room layout was annoying because there's no space to put your suitcase.

We loved the location, which was very near subway stations, and a short walk to the Okachimachi and Ueno area with all the shops and food spots. Loved the very respectful and courteous staff also, always greeting us with a smile and a nod as we go by the lobby. Facilities were not too much but had the essentials. The room was small, but just enough for two people to stay comfortably. It was clean though and had everything we needed. Bed was comfy, but it would’ve been better if the pillows were a little fluffier and if they provided 2 more. Nothing much. Couldn’t complain.

Great location, clean bedrooms, close to convenience stores and multiple stations that can get you pretty much anywhere you’d need to go. The garbage can was really small, so if you’re purchasing a lot of stuff, and you have a lot of stuff to toss, just keep that in mind.

Room is spacious, Bathroom is spacious as well. Unlike other typical hotel rooms. Breakfast is 1500yen, fresh and western style. Overall I like this hotel with its facilities and the laundry. Everything is clean. nothing.

This hotel is truly exceptional for price. The breakfast (not included) is great and staff is friendly. It is located close to a grocery store, market, restaurants, and train station. The area around the hotel is safe.y family and I would come back to this hotel, no doubt.
