Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi

The location is great, next to the metro station + direct bus to Shibuya. The room size is ok. Rooftop onsen and sauna is a great idea, but it have to be kept clean. As written in many reviews, I can confirm that there is a problem with A/C smelling bad. I've asked for another room, but it was just slightly better. You can simply see that the A/C unit was not cleaned for a very long time. The hotel management should invest more into the A/C deep cleaning, not just filters sweep. Hot tubs in the onses need to be cleaned properly as well, now you can see the dirt along the water line...which ruins the overal pleasant experience.

Rooms are small, but clean. There is a washing machine in the building you can use for a small fee. Location is great and close to the subway. Personally the bed was too hard for me and the pillows weren't comfortable.

Public bath was nice to have, especially the availability but was not so clean. The rooms were not as nice as pictured online. Bed was terrible, pillows terrible. Staff was not so pleasant or helpful. Overall overpriced.

The Spa N/A

It is close to markets, train stations, cafe and restaurants. The room had enough space. The staff was very helpfull and friendly. We did not stay other hotels in Tokyo but compared to our other hotels -which were cheaper - we stayed in Japan I think the hotel was older thus the room had unfresh smell and the toilet system was not working properly and the floor felt like it was a portable toilet. Air conditioning in the room worked well but outside the room the hotel was hot.

Roppongi is centrally located and with metro line easily accessible, breakfast variety. The room size, smell and comfort. No other dining option other than breakfast.

the location is great. Unfortunately, that’s where the good experience ends. The reception staff were aggressive and made no effort to make guests feel welcome. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was there just to pay — not to be hosted. The room was small and poorly maintained. The floors were not clean, and the bathroom was cramped. The bed was equally disappointing — I woke up with neck pain after sleeping, which says a lot about the quality of the mattress and pillows. To make matters worse, the room had a view of a cemetery — not exactly what you hope to wake up to. I would not recommend this hotel. If you are considering it purely for the location, I’d suggest looking for better-value options nearby.

Proximity to subway and roppongi hills (the city view deck is great!) and nice upscale residential neighborhood. Very clean, modern and elegant look. Nice chaise longue in the room with view of the Mori building. Room size pretty ok. The onsen is more like a small spa than an onsen but we liked it. Good breakfast, international staff speak good english. The Aircon was hard to get right.

Location - near Stations and Shopping Malls Rooms were small in comparison to their Osaka Hotel, I didn’t like the fact you couldn’t go to any other Floor other than the one you were allocated. Facilities were minimal - no Bar, literally just Breakfast restaurant and a High price too. Again 5 star prices for 2/3star quality
