The hotel could be a little cleaner but it was in a good location and staff was great.

Breakfast buffet and tea time are more than expected. The only little minus point is not having coin laundry facilities. Hope you can add it to your hotel

The location was vey good, especially since we wanted to take the train to Narita Airport by the Ueno Station. There were many restaurants, the market had a fun atmosphere, and the train station was very close. The hotel was very old and needs maintenance. The rooms very dark, smelled bad and the furniture was old and damaged. The price was very high for the quality of the hotel. I was definitely expecting much more.

The room was spacious and the bathhouse was a great amenity. There's only one elevator and it can take a while.

Spa in lobby is so good! relaxing after a long day or even after a long night is an unmatched experience. free coffee, smoking room, and vending machines i utilize every day! I have to come here 2x a year the usb charger in this room was not working, but not a big deal. it is a standard room

Centurian's location is in the heart of Ueno right next top Ameyoko. On the hotel's street there are many izakaya, and on neighboring streets there are a plethora of other shops as well, including Family Mart, a game center, and clothing/shoe stores. It is close to both Okachimachi and Ueno stations (about 5 minutes walking). I felt safe walking around during both the day time and night time. The hotel has a public bath, elevators, wifi, and vending machines. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and stored our bags both before and after check in, making Ueno very easy to explore. The room had many outlets, making charging devices easy. The room was very small (to be expected), and dated. It didn't look as new as the photos indicated. My son is 6'3, and he barely fit in the bed. The mattress was sufficient but not comfortable, as I could feel the springs underneath me. The state of the room was not terrible, but for the price we paid (over $200 for one night), I expected the room to look and feel a lot more updated.

The sauna, ice bath and hot bath being right in the hotel is amazing. The Complementary coffee and green tea and ice cream machine are a beautiful aspect. It's beyond amazing after long day of walking/sightseeing to be able to enjoy the amenities here, or even in a lazy morning after indulging in the local nightlife. The room itself is nothing outstanding, and the usb charger in my bed was a little broken, but not a dealbreaker in any way.

Good location. Room is so small to fit 3 people.

Since we were not in the room much, must say that enjoy sightseeing. What I don't like is there were some guy drunken pass out around hotel. They made us difficult to go to main building to use spa, our room were in another building. But overall is good.
-
Excellent location, public bath was great. Room was small but thoughtful and functional with its layout.

Excellent customer service!! Kind & friendly.

They limit the key cards to two, so if you are staying with friends and have different itineraries, this is something to consider. Also bear in mind that, the annex is not actually connected to the main building and would have to go down and walk over across the street to access the communal facilities.
-
Great location - close to train station, lots of nearby ships and restaurants, easy to get around with a small child. Friendly staff.
-
not great sound insulation from the street on Saturday night
-
Not clean. Tiny room. Only a dwarf could use the bathtub.
