Climbing up to the upper bunk could be easier with better steps/ladder?

The bed is too soft. The room is on the second floor and higher but only the stairs as addressed in the description.

The staff and location The lockers were a bit tricky and if you have a suitcase, it’s hard to open it in the room. It was very hot in the room.

Really easy to check in and out. Quite a long walk to the station. Plus stairs are kinda steep. No elevator.

Just 10 minutes' walk from the metro in a prime strategic location, with easy airport access. The common area was lovely and everything spotlessly clean. No elevator though, and no assistance with heavy suitcases up to the 4th floor.

Staffs are nice and helpful. Narrow bunk. I stayed on the bottom bunk, and the ladder made it a bit difficult to get in and out because the space was quite tight. Ridiculous rules. After you check out, you need to pay to store your luggage, and you are not allowed to use the lobby after checking out. I might have very limited experiences, but I’ve stayed in several hostels before, and this is the only hostel with these ridiculous rules.

New and clean. Too tiny bathroom. Bed and restroom is too close.

Great location, plenty of toilets, luggage locker for one large suitcase Plumbing needed to be checked, it didn’t smell great in the female showers.

The location was good, close to the subway. Very nice staff. Clean and comfortable beds, spacious lockers. some people thought they need to use the hairdryer at 1am, and the walls are really thin so it was hard to not wake up.

I like that I can smoke there and the staff were kind Where do we even begin? The cleanliness and lack of responsibility. They didn’t clean my bed and I had to sleep for TWO DAYS with dirty sheets piled up on a corner of my bunk bed and someone’s dried blood on the mattress cover! They didn’t care to check each and every bunk bed! They didn’t care to recheck at all! Despite me checking in later in the evening!

The bed was comfortable. I spent most of my time walking around the streets of Ueno and other parts of Tokyo all day and I can crash comfortably

Staff is nice and the laundry service is great. For the price I think the location is not great, there are no elevators, you cannot enter for the main door certain hours, it was hot inside and the lounge room is very small, at peak hours is totally full. I know they can't do so much about it but I stayed at others capsule hotels that were either cheaper or the same price and you get so much more.
