Near to central station accessible area Small room
-
It was on par with most small Tokyo hotels that are not linked to one of the major hotel chains and it was one block away from the ueno train station I had just come from the Hilton Hiroshima so unfortunately my expectations were probably off. This is a very basic Hotel but overpriced for that basicness.

Place is dirty, clearly not well cleaned and understaffed. I found trash, dental floss, toothpicks and food under the bed.

The hotel is conveniently located near Ameyoko Market making it within walking distance of shops and restaurants, minus the noise and crowd. It is also around 5-minutes walk from the train stations (Ueno and Kesei Skyliner). The room is spacious with enough space for our luggages. Our room has a beautiful view of the Tokyo skyline. I also love the variety of dishes offered in the breakfast buffet. There is a 7-11 beside the hotel entrance. Since the hotel is situated starting from the 20th floor, the elevator takes awhile to arrive. The carpet in the hallway have stains and needs replacement.

Place was great if you want to be close to Akihabara, as it's a 15 min train ride. Still most of the big Tokyo attractions should be around 30-40 mins train ride in general. For the price, the rooms were very spacious and it was clearly stated how/when they clean the rooms. Breakfast buffet had a good range of options. There's a convenient store right at ground level, and across the street is full with restaurants and shops. It would be great if bottles of water, one or two, were included in the stay. For the price I think this was the only one accommodation that I've not received any water during the stay, again for the price.

The location was central and everything was in a good walking distance. Breakfast was exceptional. The staff were always friendly and helpful. The laundry was clean with great hours. I did not enjoy the hard pillow. My husband and I had one pillow each and he can not use anything hard. The pillow was too bulky for my comfort.

Breakfast time is not long enough (8.45am last order)

The lights between the walking path is too dark

The accommodation was clean, safe, and conveniently located for sightseeing and traveling to the airport. The room had a beautiful view, was fully equipped with amenities, and the staff provided excellent guidance and service. I was very impressed. -

Comfortable to travel and find a food N/A

Good location, near to 2 metro stations. The staff was nice, they speak english good enough to understand It was the most spacious room we had in our Japan trip They had laundry service, we didn't use it but it was a nice to have The room wasn't exactly clean when we arrived but nothing terrible. When reserving there were only smoking rooms available (we dont smoke) and obviously the smell in the room was hard, just for you to have it into consideration

the breakfast was delightful with a wide variety of foods and options to choose from, both for western and local palate. the room itself was comfortable even if perhaps a bit small, but as a solo traveler it was just right for me, and it didnt feel crammed even with a large suitcase. (be advised though that for a couple it might be different) the only bad thing i could say was that i accidentally booked a room for smokers and the room had a bit of a funky smell to it, but i also take responsibility for it since it was my mistake. i will say that despite the smell the room was fairly clean. so just pay attention if you dont smoke to choose a non smoking room to avoid this
