Port House Hatsudai

We like the shared kitchen (3rd floor). There was no coffee cups in the room (so had to borrow from the kitchen). With the kitchen we could cook our breakfast. Laundromat next door is convenient. The accomodation has a lift (good for luggages). Good instruction on how to reach the accommodation from the train station. McDonald, Family Mart, Kitchen Origin and Aeon are walking distance away. The wash basin is outside the bathroom, and the floor is carpeted. It would be good if this area is tiled.

Everything was very clean! Our room was conveniently located right next to the train station that took us anywhere! I also loved that there was a 24 hour laundry service right next to our building where our room was. So convenient! Nothing to mention! Everything was great!

Very clean rooms, great location, fantastic price. Communication with staff was very easy as well! We really liked how comfy the beds were, too. Slept even better than at home! I want to stay again next time I'm in Tokyo for vacation. The shower in room 302 on the 3rd floor did not have a working hot water valve. We were able to make do for the 2 nights as we were at the end of our trip in Tokyo, but slight inconvenience. We would still love to return next time!

The host is very responsive. It’s easy to communicate with them in English. Self service checking in and out has no problem.

Super cute, very airbnb type. Very close to some small shops, but nowhere near the super busy quarters of Tokyo. Makes the nights a bit quieter and you get to see more of city than you otherwise would. Free water is also a major plus! It was a bit far from major stations but that is a plus and minus.

Clean, lots of amenities, large for Japan Nothing

The location was pretty convenient with some tourist spots at walking distance and a metro station 3min away. The laundry in the same building was very comfortable and the common space even though very simple, we used it a couple brief times and it was okay. As almost every property in Japan, the room was small. Perfect for one person I think, but tight for two. The bathroom was almost impossible to get dry in because you stumbled over the toilet. Not having physical reception to ask things directly to a person was also challenging for some services we needed (like luggage forwarding).

Amazing shower Bed and room was very small

Excellent location, tiny but cozy room with comfortable bed and coin laundry on the 1st floor. The host helped us with luggage delivery to the next hotel which was a great help!

Loved the location. Hatsudai was out of the craziness of the city but you could still comfortably walk to some cool areas

I liked how quiant and quiet the neighborhood is, and how specious the room was compared to other accommodations. I also enjoyed the common areas where you can lounge, work and get essentials like tea, shampoo, etc.

This is a fully automated hotel. You check yourself in and out. A code to the hotel and room is sent to you along with the forms that you need to fill including taking copies of your passport (usually front office does that). Rooms are small (maybe this is Tokyo style).

The room is a bit small. If you have two suitcases, it'll be crowded. The bathroom was also very small. They should put a shampoo/conditioner dispenser on the walls of the shower too.

All the basics covered well. Easy to find. Quiet. Affordable. Good location. Took some tries to get the a/c working. Reliance on communication via Line did not work for us.
