The location is nice and right next to a park. It's a central location and less than a 30 minute walk to Sugar Beach and the CN Tower. The parking was very convenient too. Our first night there, the fridge didn't work. Maintenance came and replaced it. The third day, there was no hot water due to a gas issue. I didn't like that I wasn't even offered some kind of small refund for the inconvenience. We didn't have hot water to take a shower until the afternoon and it threw our day off. I mentioned this at checkout and they didn't do anything besides say that they hope it will be better next time. I was very disappointed by this. I stayed there last year and it was a great experience and expected better.

Room was spacious, clean and modern. Had all facilities needed including an iron and board :) and coffee machine. Good size bathroom with plenty of room for our toiletries. Reception area was very welcoming. Very pleased with this hotel. Included breakfast which is great but could have had a slightly better choice. Kettle in room would be good.

Excellent spacious room with lovely ensuite shower room - including Dove toiletries. Had everything I needed. Buffet breakfast had plenty of options. Location was perfect, easy walking distance to all of Toronto's main tourist attractions Breakfast times were quite busy, I always managed to find a table though

After checking in and paying for parking, we pulled into the parking garage to discover we did not receive the correct parking pass from the front desk. We had to back out of the garage and go back to front desk to ask for a valid parking pass.

The air-conditioning in the room sounded like a helicopter and extremely loud. Not sure if that is fixable, but definitely a deterrent.

Holiday Inn Express is always my first option because by experience they are the best option for family trips. Complimentary water not available the first day. AC needed termostat reposition. One side of the room was colder than the other.

Staff is very friendly. The day we arrived, the person at the front desk took the time to show us places near by in line with our plan. He explained to us why taking uber will be more economic than the ttc for our group of three, and in fact we did save some $$$.
