Excellent location, lovely room.

Central location with parking garage next door. Breakfast was available Bed was hard, the pillow cases were textured and the pillows were small. The wallpaper was starting to peel at the edges and the room had a funny smell. It was hot as there’s no air conditioning. They did have a decent fan which saved the night.

City center, all the shops, attraction sites are in walking distance The double-size bed is in fact 2 singles place side-by-side, so there is a gap between them that you can’t comfortably lay on. The mattress is too soft as well.

We liked everything about the Chateaux de la Loire - great staff, great location, great buffet breakfast. Very good value for money.

The welcome from staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect for the city centre and places of interest. A secure parking garage (paid) just next door was also a great bonus. Our room was at the front of the hotel, so a little noisy at times. The decor and carpets in upstairs corridors was rather tired. This didn't detract from our stay at all.

it's in the old historical city centre, 10 min. walk from Tours central train station. Lots of restaurants and shoppings nearby, making it an excellent location to explore the city. The hotel also has an arrangement with a nearby parking facilities with discounted rate. The hotel is near Tours central station. We rented a car to visit chateaux not knowing that all rental car companies are actually located in a nearby train station (Saint-Pierre-des-Corps), not in Tours central. But there're frequent trains runing betweent the two stations and the ride is only 5 min. so it's totally managable. but if you want to be closer to the car rental places, you may consider hotels near Saint-Pierre-des-Corps station.

Location and Room are very convenient, minutes from most main attractions. Staff are great, professional and courteous. There is no A/C at this location. Even though I didn't need it since I stayed there during fall, it could be a challenge during summer.

Just the location and the staff we met. We see that you have renovated many rooms on the first floor. Our room was very tired. Our room was cold but your staff gave us a heater. Our room was not clean and very dusty in the corners of the room and by the radiators. We also felt that the entrance into the shower was very unsafe….it had a high, large sloped step to reach the shower tray, so when wet was very slippery. We placed towels on the floor and entrance to the shower to prevent us from slipping. We have stayed in other hotels in Tours for less money that were considerably better. Because the room was dirty we decided not to take breakfast with you. Sorry but it was not a great experience for us at your hotel.

The hotel was a short walk from the station and was well placed for all our exploring of Tours and the region. The room was small but quiet, with a comfortable bed, and had everything we needed as a base. The breakfasts were excellent with plenty of choice and set us up well for walking and cycling. The staff were all very pleasant and one of them did more than needed with a problem we had. This is not a negative as everything worked very well for us, and a bonus was finding a kettle and mugs to make a drink in the room. There was a small supply of different teas and coffee sachets, but they were not replenished each day. This didn't bother us, as we had our own supplies, but you may wish to carry supplies if this bothers you.

Great location near city centre. Comfortable bed & pillows. Room a good size to manoeuvre. It has a fridge & a hot water jug for tea & coffee in the room - bonus! Nothing - I’d go there again

Good place to explore the centre of Tours, everything in walking distance. Space for bikes. The room and especially the bathroom were so small that it was not possible to turn around. Breakfast was OK, but nothing special.

Great location, secure bike area but it was outside and it happened to be raining when we were there so the bikes got wet.
