The room size was amazing and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked really well. No problems. Everything was great!
-
Construction going on and streets closed right outside- no shelf in shower for shampoo etc- blackout curtains did not really keep the light out enough
-
Close to downtown

Location, staff, room Difficult to park the car

Hotel is beautiful. It has been built to an extremely high standard. No corners were cut here. Definity worth a stay Just a bit expensive, but everything is at the moment. It was cheaper than other hotels in Tralee but €330 for a night with 2 adults and 1 child is expensive!! At that price you certainly would not afford to stay there for more than 1 night.

Nice hotel close to all the main sites to see in Tralee. Bed was comfy. Room was small but practical. Nice shower. Staff friendly.

The hotel is in a great location. The rooms are modern and tasteful. Staff are lovely. Our room didn’t have a window to the outside.
-
Comfortable room, inviting bar, customer service, easy check in.
-
Too many switches in the rooms
-
Location and boutique feel No microwave, not much counter space in bathroom, no drawers for clothes so we had to live out of suitcases

The property did not advertise the restaurant is closed the days I booked. When I booked they sent a message that it’s closed my day. I emailed them that that was not ok with me. I was traveling and did not get a response in a timely manner. I called Booking and spine in length and they said they would personally call and get back to me. They emailed way later saying that they didn’t hear. By the time I heard anything it was after the stay and I believe I am going to be charged. I will not use Booking again if I am charged. I am very very disappointed in the communication with them and the hotel. If I am charged I will be a big disappointed customer of both James Hotel and Booking.

Beautiful hotel with gorgeous amenities! I would say it was prices more than i would like for what it was. Great location though and so plush and comfortable!

The front desk was quite helpful giving us places to visit on the ring of Kerry. Wonderful suggestions.

As a couple, we have stayed in hotels in all of the 32 Counties (our bucket list). This hotel is one of the best. Excellent from start to finish. The location was central to bars, restaurants and shops. Eimear the hotel Manager went above and beyond her duties to ensure our stay was exceptional. Chocolates on arrival with a bottle of water, ear plugs, sleep spray and beautiful hand made toiletries. When we came back 1 day, there was 2 Easter Eggs waiting. The next day there was a plate with small deserts and a Happy Anniversary written in chocolate,2 small bottles of Gin and tonic and an ice bucket. We were also given 2 complimentary glasses of Prosecco with our dinner. The food in both the bar and the restaurant was beautiful. We ate there all 3 nights. Ellen and Michaela were exceptional with their customer service at Breakfast which was also beautiful. The hotel was extremely clean with a lift to all floors. I can’t thank the staff enough and I highly recommend this hotel to stay in when you visit Tralee. ? Absolutely nothing ?

Lovely stay right in the middle of town. Eimer looked after us right from arrival making sure we had everything we needed. Room was big, clean and modern. Handmade Irish sodas were a nice touch. And simple thing of a big bottle of water in the room. Breakfast was efficient and tasty.
