I reserved this hotel because the photos and reviews looked good. Upon arrival it was NOT what was advertised. Its right next to a creepy, cheap motel. There was a half naked man outside smoking and inside, it was humid, smelled of smoke and animals and there were people yelling up and down the hallways. The lobby was also dark and sketchy feeling. Once we got into the room it was dark and not welcoming. You could hear the people in the next rooms clearly. While the linens looked clean, the mattress was a dark color and there was no bedbug barrier on the mattress (Red flag!). We left without staying and I am waiting for a refund.

The maids need to quit Letting the door slam on that metal rod I know they don't wanna shut the doors all the way because they're cleaning the room. But they can prop it open with something because they slam, slam ,slam. Very disruptive.

If you’re trying to show off or stay somewhere fancy, move along. If you’re looking for a budget friendly stay that won’t break the bank but will be clean and comfortable, you found it. It’s not fancy but the amenities (pool and hot tub) are nice and clean. Our room was tidy and the beds were soft. I’ve stayed in fancier places that were not as clean. Breakfast is basic but there’s something for everyone. The gal at the front desk was friendly but not fake. She checked me in quickly and gave a wave when we saw her. We didn’t need anything during our stay but I felt that if we did it would not have been an issue. Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, hand soap, and lotion were provided and they were nice. Good stay.

Clean and convenient

I was disappointed that they do not fix the bed - one of the "perks" I enjoy while traveling is NOT having to fix my bed!

Very, very good for a 3 star.

During check-in, I mentioned that I might need to extend my stay an extra night. She assured me it wouldn't be an issue and told me to just let them know the next day. I had a great night's sleep and, sure enough, ended up needing to stay another night, so I made my way down to the front desk. Unfortunately, the woman from the previous evening had been replaced by a gentleman who seemed to have absolutely no idea what was going on. Suddenly, extending my stay was apparently something only a manager could handle, which was especially confusing considering rooms were still available. I didn't have the luxury of waiting "a few hours" for a manager to arrive because I was in town on business. So instead, I packed up all my stuff first thing in the morning, checked out, and gave my money to a hotel literally across the street. Besides that very confusing (and frustrating) interaction, it's a very nice hotel. But respectfully, you're only as strong as your weakest link. If you can get everyone on the level of the young woman who checked me in, you've got something pretty special here. She was phenomenal and deserves some recognition.

Great location!

We stayed for six days. The staff was super nice and helpful, room was very clean and the price was right. Just kinda wish the rooms were a little bigger, but that's not a big deal. Would definitely stay again.

Budget friendly

Staff hardly spoke and the rooms were small.
-
Exactly what I expected when I booked it, a nice clean room, comfortable mattress, quiet sleep, and easy check in/out.
-
Small area used for breakfast but was adequate. The lake was across the road from motel and was easy to access. A few places to eat were close by.

Bathroom could have been deep cleaned! Bed was very comfortable.
