The Beach Haus Resort

My biggest issue (and I totally understand cancellation policy) is we had to leave a day early for medical reasons. Expedia tried their best to contact management and explain the situation. They declined our request for the one day return-our total stay was 3 days. I had Dr. note, medical results...told front desk the situation-all to no avail. Disappointed in the outcome. Will not return.

Nice location but lacking maintenance and the water stunk

While this is an older resort, it has been kept up very well. The view from our room was spectacular, the furniture both inside and outside was clean and in great shape. Will stay here again.

Spacious room, great beach area Had a leak in the bathroom which our floor was wet our 1st night. Maintenance came the next day but I dont think they fixed it right. There was a leak in yhe bathroom still but not as bad as our 1st night

This should not be called a resort. The amenities were lacking for what one would consider a resort. The entrance/lobby area is very small and dated. There have been what appears as lots of updates to the property, which truly helped. Breakfast is not your typical continental breakfast. It was composed of: vanishes, bagels, yogurt,cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, milk, water and juice. The hot cookies after 8pm were a good touch. The balcony and view made it worth it. The room was clean, but not Hilton clean. Updates are still needed to hallways. For the price we were happy. Kevin was great on service as we had questions and he was very prompt, which was amazing for how lacking service seems to be in today's time. No elevator, as it is only 2 levels. It seemed to have a larger room area possibly on a 3rd floor or access via 2nd level, not sure. No pool. Kitchen area was a hallway to outside with 2 tables on each side and a bar area up against a wall with seating.

The view is beautiful amd the bed was very comfortable

Wonderful room, beach, location and great soaking tub. The beach and hotel were being groomed, cleaned and straightened constantly by staff. The only hiccup was the only ice machine on property was out of order and it said to go to the next hotel.

Great balcony view, great beach area , rooms were a little tight. Older property but kept up very well

Loved having a patio facing the water. It was incredibly peaceful.

Waste of money, a lot of money

We arrived at 2:30ish, and they let us check in then instead of having us wait until 4pm. The room was clean, and nice and cool as it was very hot outside and it was refreshing to walk into a cold room. Only one issue is that we had 4 people in the room and it didn't seem as though there was enough room for suitcases, but we made it work. we had to ask for extra wash clothes since there was only two in the bathroom and we had 4 people. other than that, it was a very nice stay. it was nice to sit on the balcony and watch the sunset and just watch the water, it was very relaxing.

The room was clean, however the outside was not well maintained. The garbages were over flowing everyday. I also did not like the fact that we had to bring our own chairs to sit on the beach. When I asked about people reserving them the staff told me that the resort next store shares the chairs and lounge chairs.

The front desk was very helpful

Location...Setting....Access....Private area and Beach...beautiful sunsets and friendly ducks. Comfortable bed and very adequate room, sliding doors to outside patio area, grassy area and Beach. The ice machine was broke...had to go next door to another property if you wanted ice.

There was no elevator and we were on the 2nd floor. Hard to get suitcases and other totes up and down.

If you go to this hotel, please request an inside room. The noise was very loud from the outside. We tried to change rooms but, they were booked and couldn't place us in another room. We did enjoy are stay, and the staff were very nice.

This was our first vacation anywhere ever and we absolutely loved it.Staff was super friendly room was perfect.Will definitely be coming back next year!

The stay was great, most comfy beds ever! Kind staff!
