Comfort Inn Largo-Washington DC East

First off, I would like to say the staff at this property are doing the best they can with what they’ve been given. This hotel is the most run down property I’ve stayed at. You can only do so much to tidy up a place when that is so obviously in need of repair. Also, for some reason the roughness of the property has seemed to draw a rough crowd. Loud verbal fights between guests were common in common areas, and an unhoused man raided the breakfast buffet during the stay of one of our party the day before I arrived. My own neighbors in the adjacent room played incredibly loud music till 11PM and due to the construction I could hear the details of their conversations and interactions until after midnight. This place needs to be shut down, renovated, and re-opened. It’s in too good of a location to be this bad.

We stayed for 8 days on a trip to DC. The rooms were good but a bit dated. Breakfast was good each day and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The area was nice and it was a nice 10 minute walk to the metro each day. I would not have any problems staying here again.

Stay was good but you can tell the place is in the middle of some work. Pleasant staff and had zero issues.

Hotel was better than expected! Rooms,& lobby was clean look like pictured in the advertisement. Breakfast is limited i stayed 4days. I would diffently stay again. My negative: The location was great But, the hotel is not accessible (no entrence) from the main highway. Without GPS i wouldn't have found my way in or out because i didn't know the area. A bigger hotel sign could greatly improve visibility. Lobby, entence, and hallways smells like weed but visible evidence of people smoking. Overall i would stay again

The hotel isn’t very well maintained. There were many areas that needed improvements. I would not stay there again or recommend it to others.

This was an inexpensive, clean place to stay for a lacrosse tournament. The room was spacious and nice. No carpeting, which I greatly prefer, it's much more sanitary to have hard surfaces. The parking lot was large and seemed to be safe. It appeared to have easy access to the Metro. The guy at the front desk was awesome, friendly and knowledgeable. One legit complaint is I was eating my waffle at about 6:15 and a homeless person walked into the breakfast area with a garbage bag and reached into the sausage dish with his bare hands and took about 30 sausage links. He didn't seem dangerous, and I felt horrible for him, but it was pretty nasty. Other than that, I have no complaints and would stay here again.

Amazing Staff As Always. Allowed Late Check Out With No Cost. Very Understanding When Area Lost Power Yesterday.

Clean room staff was nice

Room smelled like smoke and weed. Mold present around the window. No pull down blind to block. The exterior lights. Just a see through sheer blind.

The staff cleaning was terrible , they open my door and I still inside … no knock door !!!

The staff was great! The room was clean! The location was amazing and the breakfast was great as well. Thank you for a great stay!

A nice hotel for family vacation.

I'm not going to lie... I was worried with the reviews I read right before my stay but the hotel ended up being totally fine. My family and I stayed for 3 nights. Everyone at the front desk was always nice and helpful. Our room was clean, decent sized, and everything seemed to work fine. The breakfast was decent. We never had an issue of items not being restocked. The other people that we saw at breakfast staying at the hotel in the morning seemed to be regular families or people there for work. When we arrived the staff was cleaning the carpets in the hallways. The front door entrance, elevator, and pool could use some work.

The room was decently clean. Elevator was horrifying felt like the tower of terror. Metal panel missing over the buttons. Charged me individually per night at check in. Which is fine but tried to tell me it was the accidental deposit. After speaking with 3 people finally I got an answer it was charged per night. Just didn’t want to be charged twice for a hold. Shower didn’t have a liner just a fabric curtain. Kept flooding the bathroom and had to clean it after every shower. Just kept telling ourselves it’s a place to sleep we are leaving in the morning.

The quiet surrounding. The elevator could use of cosmetic upgrades.

Breakfast was nice. I got there after 9:00 am so I was happy accommodation was still available. Please repair the Ice Machine...
