The location! Superb! Walking distance to some of the iconic tourist spots like the Cathedral, La Lonja, Central Market etc! It’s World Cup season when we stay here, so it was a bit noisy outside, but we don’t mind at all.. just loving the vibe! Well more amenities in the room would make this hostal much better…but we manage all right

Best location in Valencia

Location was fine. Loudest TV in the world all night in the next room. Stench of cannabis in the corridor. Mattress too soft.

The hostal is located right on center of walking distance to everything. Which it’s great. The elevator was out of service and the Hostal is located practically on the 3rd floor which, it’s difficult to carry a luggage upstairs. There was a lot of noises on both sides of my bedroom which prevented me from sleeping.

Good facilities and fair for what you get. The post-stay service was very disappointing. I left a black ZARA shirt in the room. At first, they said they would send it and asked for my address, but then I received no response. After a week, I asked for an update, and still no reply. I had to follow up via email multiple times, and eventually, they said they couldn’t find any shirt in the room. I’m 100% sure I left the shirt hanging in the wardrobe.

Very quiet and clean and perfect location with large rooms. Hard to find and odd check in/out procedure.

Perfect location, very clean and comfortable, big room. We arrived late time and we are not informed about the entrance code of hotel. There is no any person in reception 24/7 hours. Than they helped me so much to check in early as much as possible.

Excellent location if you wanna stay inside de Ciutat Viella ("Old City"), very spacious bedroom, big and clean bathroom, convenient access, friendly staff and keep your luggage for free in the reception after the check out (this was the best part for me, because our flight was late night) Everything was good, i'm just going to suggest few things: install a curtain shower and put a kettle in the bedroom - this would let the bathroom cleaner and the kettle is more for the convenience

The location is wow! It’s next to town hall, walking distance to all. Staff super friendly, supermarket behind the corner, cafe and bike rental downstairs. 10 min walk from train station. The room was clean, but dark. However if you are always exploring, does not really matter.

The location is great and the room was very clean and tidy. Staff is very nice.

Good location Very noisy between the rooms. Unable to sleep with people talking and laughing in the early hours and can hear everyone’s toilet flushing and using their showers

Very centric but difficult to find the location

Hostal Tartessos was absolutely perfect, right in center and very secure, Malik welcomed us on arrival, he is an absolute gentleman and was so helpful to us whenever we asked him for anything, he is so friendly and nice, thank you Malik, we would definitely recommend your Hostal and hopefully we will be able to come stay again in the future, Valencia is a beautiful city.

The location is great for those who like reaching main city center destinations by walking and the communication with the host wast great. Being in the heart of the city, it can get a bit noisy; for us it was also a bad timing with some work being done in the building during our stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location - it's easy walking distance to the Valencia train station and sights, shops, and restaurants, but also on a side-street so it was quiet at night. The room was modern and basic, spacious and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. The shower was spacious with good water temperature and pressure. Note that it's easy to miss the small sign at the entrance to the hostel. Once you find the sign and enter the building, look for the elevator on the left, go up to the hostel, and there you'll find the reception to be welcoming and well-organized. When you leave the room, the electricity including the mini-refrigerator turns off. This made the refrigerator less useful.
