Nice property good staff? The fridge was a little small, the showers were sometimes taken, and one of the two only had hot water.

Location, safety, kind staff Bathroom smelled a bit bad at times

The staff was very helpful and accommodating. They were flexible with us, we had a large group of friends staying at the hostel together. The courtyard was also really cute!

Location, clean, big kitchen, strong wifi There is a little more noise from outside in bedroom next to the street.

Very clean, staff very kind and helpful, full kitchen with necessary gadgets, free WiFi, quiet sleeping quarters

Convenient loacation Sewer gas smell, no looks on the bathroom doors which is inconvenient in a mixed dorm. 2 toilets for 12 beds one was broken, one of the showers was also out of commission.

Nikolaus was a nice receptionist I paid three Euros to have my bag stored for 2 hours

The staff was very friendly, and the location was great. The room was pretty nice, but the restroom had a slight smell. It wasn’t dirty, in fact, it was very clean. I think it might be a city issue. Bath towels are not provided by the hostel.

I appreciated that our room had the bathroom and showers right in the room so I didn't need to go outside at night, but the toilet was so small my husband almost didn't fit in it. There were 2 showers and 1 bathroom for our room. The showers could use a shelf or some hooks for keeping things off the floor when showering. We were not given a key for our room so there was just that little feeling of my belongings being less secure, even in the locker.

Staff was helpful No complaints but nothing particularly memorable

- They rent towels. I believe that providing towels, should be a most basic requirement for all kinds of hospitality stablishments. - Showers where, dirty, claustrofobically tiny, dark, and they had a timer.
-
there was a problem with toilet flush and shower room door in only female room.
-
The hostel is very clean and tidy the beds are comfortable
-
Keeping luggage after check out for fees is not very hospitable. Nevertheless the fees is reasonable only 3 Euros.

The place is nice and the kitchen is spacious. There are no private rooms.

my first hostel experience was at SOM and it made the best impression of hostels for me. it was clean, the staff was incredibly nice and polite, and the rooms were very neat. i really liked the bed curtain's, because they give us more privacy. the hostel's location is great too, it's very close to the center so you can either walk around or there is a bus station right around the corner which goes to the center and the coast. another great thing is the AC in my room, it was life saving during the blasting hot summer of valencia. the only thing that should be changed is the windows. my room had a tiny little window, and i believe for hygienic and health purposes every room should be more ventilated, so the windows should be much bigger.

There are a few things that could be improved. The mattress in Room B was quite old and uncomfortable. Cleanliness wasn’t the best, but to be fair, that was partly due to the behavior of other travelers. It would help if the hostel had a clear rules-of-conduct pamphlet or notice in place—some guests were turning on the lights in the middle of the night and being loud when others were trying to sleep.
