MD Modern Hotel - Jardines

Everything was absolutely perfect! The location is beautiful and ideal, the room was very clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed, including excellent air conditioning. A special mention to the lovely lady at the reception, who was incredibly kind, welcoming, and accommodating. She truly went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommended! ❤️

Location was out of the way. The bed was okay after being in the hot sun for 10 hours The air conditioner wasn’t working . Nor was the television.

Nice and clean. We had 2 wallets taken from our room. The manager will dispute this. When we left in the morning the aircon and ceiling fan were still working. When we realised, we dashed back on the bus from the beach. Had to wait 2 hours for anyone to meet us( ok it's high summer). Manager said it was impossible that our wallets could have been taken as we'd not put a cleaning request on our door. Strangely though,when we got into room our aircon and ceiling fan had been turned off. Meaning someone HAD been into our room. They'll deny it, Id signed the small print, lesson learnt. Wouldn't go there again or any MD Hotel for that matter. No help or concern, immediately on the defensive and threatening to call the police. Which OK, any other time I would have done, it was the day of the eclipse. I did actually say that to her. Dont go there basically.

Well located, comfortable and clean. Directly across the road from the park in a quiet neighbourhood within a close walk to nice bars, cafes and restaurants and close to bus stop for links to the beach and the old town. The staff were lovely, Anna was particularly hospitable and friendly and was kind enough to arrange a later checkout time. The Internet very slow, but this could have just been my room. The shower was also very small and might be difficult for less mobile persons to use.

The staff was incredible. So helpful with recommendations for shopping and sights and there were great accommodations. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is perfect.

Excellent location, extremely nice lady at the reception, from UA. The price is very high compared to what the room is offering. And the checkin process is very stressful , you receive dozens of emails, mesaages, notifications, etc, for nothing! The vending machine it’s not working. The pillows are bad. And if the neighbors will enter in their room, you have the impression that they will enter in your room! The room ia not great, with Ikea furniture. You cannot sleep with a leg/foot outside the bed because there is a wood board that will heart you. So yes, too expensive for what it offers, not so comfy

Fairly spacious room size, equipped with huge wall size-windows that opened directly to a private patio with garden set. Bathroom too was spacious and bright. Bed was double sized and quality of the bedding was good. Check in timing was too specific/tight and a bit stressful (especially, for Sunday, check-in timing was very narrow (closed after 2pm), and I was fearful that I might not be able to enter the room, in case my flight happened to be delayed, etc) If I knew those specifics, I would have chosen to stay other hotels which didn't have very narrow check in timing. Guests with very tight schedule are recommended to communicate with the hotel before firm booking, as there is no possibility to cancel the booking after that. The position of the wall hooks were at the deepest part of the room, whereas we need those near the entrance, to hung scarf, bags, coat etc. Also, I had a challenge finding a base/shelf to place my suitcase (ended up taking in a garden chair from patio, to place & open the suitcase). No elevator to the rooms on upper floor.

Big bed, big window, a private patio. Not too bright, but well-lit lighting for the bath room and the bed room. Wall hooks for hangers, Tea set. Very short stressful check in hour (Reception is staffed only for limited hours, in the morning and in the afternoon, and closes for the sunday afternoon etc). No elevator. A bit far from the closest metro stop (15/20-25min walk depending on how fit one can walk.) Hotel should have indicated those specific check in hours on its advertisement before our decision to book.
