Relatively close to the main train station, and very close to the water front. Overall the property was good, however, do note that you will find a porter very handy for transporting heavy luggage’s to and from the station.

Room was small and breakfast was okay.

Breakfast at the rose garden was unbelievable ?

20E breakfast.

The property was beautiful, clean, and in the perfect location in the city. There was a rooftop and extra amenities like the garden and bar at their location across the street (where you check in). The staff was helpful and it was a wonderful stay especially considering how reasonably priced it was. When we come back to Venice, we will stay here again. 10/10! We loved everything!

Nothing to improve - this is a perfect hotel in an ideal location for short stays.

The breakfast ? The receptionist when we were trying to check in. She was not very articulate. I can hardly understand what she was paying. I don't know if she is Chinese, or Vietnamese when I was talking to her on the intercom. Being a receptionist, one must know English very well.

The location is perfect. Close to the train station and boat station. Do not need drag the luggage to walk across many bridges. The hotel is at a very quiet neighborhood. Walk in distance to small convenience stores. Nothing. Good for its value.

5 minutes from the train, lovely staff, nice AC, clean and newly renovated rooms.

It was clean, safe and very close to the train station, so getting there walking with carry ons was not a nightmare. They had a pier so I could book a private taxi to pick me up and take me to the airport. Everything was extremely small. Room, bathroom, beds. No closet.

Very good breakfast; clean, comfortable beds; friendly staff A little confusing to find the front desk since they manage two hotels with different names. Once found, it’s smooth for the rest of the stay.

It was a short walk from the train station and located near a canal. The room was perfect for a nights sleep and we were able to keep our bags in their storage room until we left for our flight the next day! Very friendly staff and building felt secure.

Very modern and clean. Great location. A little hard to find. Small room, but we expected that.

Excellent location to everything. We had a wonderful time! The room had great air conditioning which was fantastic after each day of touring.

Great location, quiet, and clean

Nothing

Pillows not enough support, and always having to call to keep it cool.

We arrived in Venice along with some warm temperatures so it was appreciated that the hotel had a really strong AC system. There was a nice roof deck we could access which had lovely views over the Grand Canal.

The location is hard to beat. It is a very short, easy walk from the Santa Lucia train station, tucked away in a quiet, charming courtyard just off the Grand Canal. It’s perfect if you want to avoid dragging luggage across too many bridges (still requires crossing one large and one smaller bridge via stairs). Renovated rooms. The Room: Be aware that the “King” is NOT a King to American standards. The bed was much smaller—closer to a US "Full" or "Small Double." The room itself was very cramped. Additionally, the AC didn't allow us lower the temperature; we had to call the front desk where they informed us it required them to manually do so from their computer system. The Service: While professional, the staff lacked warmth. On one occasion, the woman at the front desk stayed on a phone call for 10 minutes while we stood waiting, without even a nod or "one moment" to acknowledge us. There was a very noticeable difference in how guests at the sister property, Ca’ Nigra Lagoon, were treated compared to those staying at Ai Due Fanali.
