the rooms are a bit small. but that is common in Venice. walking here at niight with luggages was a bit difficult. it took us an hour from the bus stop in the heat as the water buses don't run that late. Book a water taxi if traveling at night!

The room is clean and spacious, and the restroom has been newly renovated. The male receptionist working the night shift was extremely rude and unprofessional. The air conditioning can only be controlled by the reception desk. When I requested that my room be made colder, he responded rudely and handled the situation unprofessionally.

The location was great for navigating the city. Our taxi dropped us right at the door. Our room was ready early when we arrived.

Ricardo, (front desk) was very helpful with recommendations and assisting with transportation issues...very professional and personable! Beds and pillows need a refresh. Beds were OK, but we had a very thin pillow and a very thick, heavy pillow on each bed...neither were comfortable. Mild disappointment...no lotion included in bathroom toiletries.

We loved how central the accomodation was. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were super friendly and great in helping us navigate the island/ the best restaurant spots that weren’t tourist traps. I would have loved to have a kettle in the room.

Staff, the facilities and location were all top notch. Room was big and overlooked the canal. The bathroom did not have a real shower. It had tub with a spray wand and no enclosure. Had to wash my hair on my knees to avoid getting water outside the tub.

Good breakfast. Difficult to get to and from, room was very small, stairs were dangerous, and cost was too high. Then staff charged us for room service when we asked for ice (no ice machine available). That’s some serious nickel and diming!
