The staff was so friendly and happy to assist with any needs/ questions. The room was beautiful with an old Victorian feel. The shower pressure was amazing and so was the AC There isn’t an elevator but that didn’t bother me as the staff brought up our bags. However, could be an issue for anyone handicap

Great location

The hotel was beautiful. Incredibly cute. Amazing breakfast and very comfortable rooms. The location was perfect. Although it was a little tricky to get there when you get off the train station into the island of Venice once you learn to get around, it is perfect. We were five minutes from Piazza San Marco. Five minutes from the Alto Bridge. And pretty much everything was pretty close for us to even get lost and find our way back. I had a little accident with the bed cover with the hot iron and the hotel overcharge me € 190 for it. I believe it was way overpriced since the bed cover was very old and when I spoke to the person at the lobby, they told me there was no going to be a problem. When I mentioned to them that I will pay for it they told me not to worry that I might not have pay because the business is owned by a family and they’re very nice . But they waited until I was ready to leave to charge me. Since leaving the island of Venice it’s very tricky. You pretty much have no time to deal with anything but try to get to your water ferry on time for your flight. I had no time to discuss the real prize or anything. I think that was a low movement from the hotel staff. Now my intention was never to do anything about it, but over pay? They mentioned to me that the new one was about €300 which is something I completely disbelief. So I left with a little bit of a sour note.

Location was amazing. Breakfast was fantastic. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were tight but all ok when solo travelling. Bed mattress was unbalanced due to overuse on one side due to location of bed in small room against a wall. They need to flip mattress or replace since I felt like I was going to fall off bed since it was overused on the side that you could only access.

The room was quite small, and the area around the hotel was very crowded, which made it feel a bit noisy and busy.

Breakfast was outstanding! Staff was very helpful and friendly.
-
The air conditioning blower didn't work too well in our room.
-
It is next door to a very popular gelato shop so you sometimes have to navigate around the crowds and there was some noise in the early evening.
-
Everyone was very friendly and the location was wonderful.

Unfortunately, the room had several hygiene and comfort issues. Upon arrival we found an insect on the pillow and hair residue on the showerhead. Soundproofing was very poor — noise from the street, neighboring rooms, and the corridor was constantly audible. Despite keeping the windows closed, there were also a lot of mosquitoes in the room. As the conditions were not what we expected, we had to end our stay early. Following our request and the photos/videos we shared, the management agreed to provide a partial refund for the unused nights.
