Stunning property in a great location. N/A

Amazing property with excellent staff! No complaints!

We love this hotel and this was likely our 10th stay. The staff and the facility is amazing and the location on the canal can’t be beat. We do miss the old buffet breakfast they used to have that was so very Italian. We find ourselves not eating breakfast with the current arrangement. The dinner however is excellent

Essentially private dining on Grand Canal terrace.

We loved the location of Hotel Palazzo Stern. We enjoyed that it was on the water but not a super busy part of the canal. We appreciated the fact there was a restaurant and breakfast available in the morning as well as apertivo in the evening. We also loved that there was a vaporetto stop right outside the hotel, which made it more affordable to get to all the places if we didn’t want to walk. I can’t say there was anything specifically that I didn’t like about the property.
-
Charming. Great location. 5th time staying Please replace aging stair runner!!
-
Convenience to taxi stop Room service limited.
-
The continental breakfast on the terrace is a great bargain compared to same at a local cafe. You get fruit - yogurt - bread - good croissants - coffee - juice plus a lovely setting watching the boats on the Grand Canal. The location is great - just 20 or so steps from the vaparetto stop.
-
Beautiful Palace and amazing place to stay a little away from the crazy tourist places but accessible if you want to walk there! Friendly people really wonderful views from the terrace by the grand canal and from the balcony!!! Great Place!!
-
staff accommodating requests for room service dinner at night when the dinner service was booked. Dinner itself was very delicious! They also prepared breakfast meal package for when we could not enjoy breakfast on our last day due to needing to catch the train. Price for the room was quite steep, breakfast options could be expanded
-
Everything! Customer control of air conditioning, because there was none, we stayed in many hotels of same age and they had the units that go into the wall, not windows, so this could be done, without ruining the historical hotel!

There is a restaurant on site that was, quite frankly as good as any we experienced in town! I’d like to call out Paulo Trevisson, who was one of the main managers and wore a lot of hats. Personable and charming, he embodied the spirit of palazzo stern as much as anything there! P.s. this place has an amazing chapel on premise and the decor was more beautiful than the pictures give credit to! I would recommend the palazzo stern to anyone without hesitation! I could have booked my whole damn vacation there…live and learn

Great location near Grand Canal and vaporetto stop, which give you an opportunity to get to different sights fast and easy. Also staff are very polite, full breakfast, interior.
-
Wonderful location right next to a vaporetto stop, beautiful room and building, service was impeccable.

This was our third stay here. The staff is exceptional. They can’t do enough for you. The setting is fabulous—private terrace on the Grand Canal, where you can have a drink while watching the world go by. Vaporetto stop right there and walking distance to shops, sights, and restaurants. Usually our basic room is small but comfortable. This time we were on the third floor and the room seemed smaller than usual. Also the heat level—ranging from 24 to 27 degrees Celsius made sleeping uncomfortable. Hotel air conditioning gets turned off by law in the fall, but we have always visited in the spring or fall and have never been so uncomfortable. Perhaps because heat rises and makes the situation worse the higher the floor. We used booking.com because the price was somewhat lower than the hotel website. We wondered if that was why our room was not as good as we expected from past experience.
-
The location was fantastic! Right in the grand canal and a water taxi stop was right next to the hotel.
-
The Palazzo Stern Hotel is super conveniently located next to water transit and also has its own private taxi dock. The staff was responsive and made our restaurant reservations and boat taxi reservations for our tours. The restaurant is located on the grand canal. I highly recommend this property. MikeB

I wish I had known about the windows needing to be closed in order to make the air conditioner wirk!
