Antico Mercato

Wonderful location. We had everything we need plus more. The air conditioning kept us cool. There were delicious treats waiting for us. A rose and a personalized note. There was also a wonderful breakfast laid out for us in the fridge for whenever we woke up. Alessandro was an amazing host. Nothing

Location for sure. Very close go the Rialto Bridge, restaurants, all the majors things to see in Venice. Nice people … Alessandro was so helpful. It was a bit hard for us to locate. But only due to so many short narrow streets that all looked similar. And no many people visiting.

On a small side street, very quiet. Do NOT go by the picture posted on booking.com as this is not the entrance to the hotel. Took us awhile to find the correct location. The manager was wonderful from early text messages about water bus, water taxi to shared water taxi! The cleanliness, manager, location to the Rialto Bridge and market. Snacks in the room, a breakfast we could not appreciate due to an early departure to grab the water taxi to the airport. Good value!

Incredible location, quiet, and spacious. The room was air conditioned and large, the perfect space for a few days in Venice. The host was wonderful, attentive and kind, went out of his way to make suggestions and ensure that I had a lovely time. Breakfast was very appreciated every morning as well! Can't recommend this place enough! Thank you!

Easy to access from Rialto or Rialto Market bridge. Had to climb stairs with my suitcase. But I understand these are old buildings.

Quiet, clean, and conveniently located. Alessandro, the manager, was very accommodating and helpful. A good value for someone not looking for a five star experience but looking for value. Need to be self reliant because there is no staff 24/7. The breakfast is adequate but spartan.

Great personal reception, very kind host available for tips and recommendations. Room was very nice and comfortable, easy access to kitchen. Fantastic location, just off Rialto market and bridge, perfect! Entrance from the street is slightly surprising but as soon as you enter you notice stark contrast with well decorated interior.

Such a wonderful stay! The breakfast was exceptional, the staff was welcoming and helpful. Our room was clean and comfy, they made our stay so amazing with so many thoughtful touches! The location is perfect too! Would stay here again and again!

The host was very friendly and everything was very clean. I loved the grab and go breakfast available in the room and the central eating area.

Next to Rialto Market/Bridge and centralized located in the middle of all actions. Host is friendly. There is sauna and jacuzzi available for use. Free breakfast. Shower (water) is a little lukewarm.

The only thing we did not like was that we could hear the other guests in the kitchen, which was right outside our room. This is what woke us up during our stay.

Superb appartments! The hospitality that Alessandro generously shares with his guests is extraordinary and leaves you feeling like at home. Every detail is important - from fresh rose on the table to gorgeous Venetian chandeliers. Location is top. Sauna is very useful after october-chilly evening walks. Breakfast was great - with smoked fish, boiled eggs, yogurt, cheese, salami, pastry.

Antico Mercato is a charming Bed & Breakfast in an excellent location in Venice & Alessandro has thought of everything when it comes to amenities. The room was equipped with a hair dryer, clothes steamer & refrigerator along with snacks for our stay. All things that I was told by travel groups not to expect in Italy. For breakfast, each room had a tray wauting for them of multiple items to cover the different breakfast habits of all the countries that come to visit. The smell of warm croissants in the morning along with baked goods were a nice addition to the morning breakfast trays. A coffee machine providing espresso and cappuccino was available 24/7 along with water, cold, still, or sparkling. The property also has a sauna and jacuzzi room which you can reserve for a day. Alessandro was very helpful pointing out areas to visit as well as restaurants and directions to Vaporetto lines. The rooms are charming and spacious & our breakfast kicked off our days the right way. There was nothing that we didn't like about Antico Mercato.
