Ca' Vendramin Zago

The bathroom smelled like sewage all the time, there were mosquitoes and ants in the room, and the air conditioning do not work well enough to cool the room down. We asked about refilling our water bottle in the room and were told that was only for the first day.

Beds were very comfortable! AC was great! Breakfast was so delicious! Good WiFi! TV channels, could not watch World Cup. next time would advise to bring your own laptop or device to watch TV.

Ca'Vendramin Zago is perfectly located. It's tucked away from the hustle and bustle, yet easily accessible to all Venice has to offer. It's just steps away from Restaurants and Strada Nova, the main street in Cannaregio offers so much shopping! The hotel is housed in a stunning historic 17th-century building. It has been beautifully preserved and restored. We stayed at Ca' Vendramin to celebrate our 38th wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine and treats. Every night a treat was left on our table; cookies or chocolate to complete the day! I can't say enough about the staff, everyone was so welcoming. Alessandro and Live went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable and offered suggestions for local eateries as well as excursions. I appreciate that they let me practice my Italian too! The breakfast and coffee was a perfect way to start the day. Again, I can't say enough about Ca'Vendramin. If you are looking for a magical place to stay in Venice away from the hustle and bustle, then Ca'Vendramin is for you...thank you Alessandro and Live, we hope to be back to stay with you soon... Everything was perfect:)

Loved the location-in a quieter area but a part of the neighborhood that had a lot to offer. Wish they had a lobby bar

The shower in the room is tiny, though it can be made collapsible for more space. It is easy to make a mess! However, the freestanding tub outside of the toilet room is a bonus.

Excellent staff. Lovely property and very quiet location yet near everything Two floors in room made it challenging with luggage. Asking for a one floor room if you have aloe of luggage.

Excellent breakfast, friendly staff that was willing to ask any question every time we came or went. The cleaning staff (two lovely ladies) happened to be cleaning our room when we came back from lunch and they were so friendly and so efficient, doing a good job. I have already informed my sister and her husband THEY HAVE TO STAY HERE!! The tub- wonderful. We had balconies over the canal--totally worth the upgrade! If you're going to stay in Venice, get a room over the canal! Nada-- all excellent

Alessandro is a warm and gracious host who made us feel very welcome. I was impressed and delighted to observe the easy camaraderie of the staff - host, wait staff, cleaning staff, and what a team effort it is at the Ca' Vendramin Zago. Although the hotel is beautifully historic with high ceilings and a palatial feel, the room amenities are modern and very comfortable. We love the sestiere of Cannaregio. It is is a perfect location to take a short stroll to the many local places of interest or enjoy drinks and cicchetti at the Fondamenta de la Misericordia. A great location to retreat from the San Marco throngs yet the big sites and the airport are still easily accessed by the vaporetto or a 20-minute hike. Breakfast very nice and the people are pros. Note the photos taken from our canal view room. Stunning place. Nothing. The place is wonderful and the team is diplomatic and fair.

Suite with canal view was wonderful. The breakfast was lovely and the staff were very welcoming.

It is not a full spread breakfast but adequate as this is more like a boutique kind of hotel. The staff are super nice and helpful. Thank you Alessandro for all the help.

Beautiful old style hotel. I never stay anywhere else in Venice. L’Allessandro takes such great pride in his hotel. I feel like family every time I come. Highly recommend to everyone.

LOCATION NO ELEVATOR , BUT NO SERVICE, WE NEED CARRY LUGGUAGE VIA LADDERS DUE TO MY HUSBAND GOT BAD LEGS WHICH IS VERY INCONVINIENT

Close to everything, really great breakfast

If you are into tourist trap areas this is not your place. If you want amazing location coupled with amazing staff this is the place There recommendations are top notch but not if you’re looking for the “Disney “ Epcot experience Absolutely nothing
