Giacomo was an exceptional host; our train was 3 hours late he communicated with us to ensure we were welcomed despite the late hour. The room was beautiful, comfortable, clean and Giacomo added special welcome gifts. He shared fantastic suggestions for where to eat and was always ready yo answer questions. The location was perfect. We were visiting for Carnival so we saw street performers right outside the windows and we were super close to accademia bridge and still walkable to St Mark’s square. We loved being a little walk to St Mark’s because our campo was more peaceful and still lots to do and see! Venice is charming and beautiful with special bridges buildings and views around every corner. We had a blast walking around and also getting a little lost. The room was perfect with a hot tub to soak our weary feet at the end of the day. We highly recommend Venice Friendly Suites!

The outside look of the hotel is decieving. It looks like just another old building in Italy. The room was fabulous! New bathroom. Elegant and stylish. Hotel employee took wonderful care of us, arranging a water taxi for early pick up. Great experience!

No it was great.

There was bugs in the bathroom, when we first went into the room, cleaning gloves were still laying around. I asked for mosquito repellent refill which they have, only to be rudely dismissed by the host answering “there is no mosquitos.” Room smells.

It was clean and comfortable in a very good location. When we were about to depart, the city flooded and Giacomo was very helpful

We had an excellent stay at the Venice Friendly Suites. Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. It’s located in the San Marco Sestiere and a close walk to the Accademia Bridge. This location was fantastic, on a wonderful square complete with cafes, restaurants and shops and close to many of the important sites but out of the tourist fray. Special thanks to Giacomo for his attentive help and kind welcome!

Stunning rooms, beautiful decoration in classic Venetian style, beautiful bedding, well equipped bathrooms. Great location, surrounded by excellent cafes and restaurants. Above all a wonderful welcome from Giacomo, who was available throughout to give advice. He booked water taxis for arrival at the station and departure, providing an unforgettable experience from start to finish. We couldn’t fault it, simply brilliant

The place can take up some more renovation.

While it did not matter to me, the 'hotel' dues not really have a common area and you are just renting a beautiful en-suite room. Plenty of cafes and restaurants close by for coffee, drinks and meals.

Amazing room cozy clean comfy

Beautiful spacious room, host was so helpful with recommendations for restaurants and attractions and even helped us find alternative transportation during a public transport strike. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Venice.
